Falling.

Do you ever have that feeling?

You know...

When your chest feels tight,

And your head spins,

You are crying,

But you have no idea why.

You feel like you are falling,

Down,

Down,

Down.

Into this dark, black pit,

And you can't see a way out.

All there is, is darkness.

Everywhere you look,

That intense, cold black.

That surrounds you,

And threatens to engulf you,

And drag you down,

Where you cannot escape.

But then,

You hear something,

A tiny voice.

Screaming.

Louder and louder,

Even though you are alone,

In the cold, darkness.

Theres no one there,

But they're screaming.

Endlessly.

Over,

And over.

Until you realise,

You are the one,

Who is screaming.

But then you realise something.

If you can scream,

You can call for help.

And suddenly,

You see a glow,

Somewhere in the distance.

Your mind clears.

You can breathe again.

You aren't crying.

You can feel the ground,

Solid,

Beneath your feet.

And it may not be much,

But its something.
