This one can be important if you got with any Japanese people in Japan. There are subtle rituals that show respect towards the person you're drinking with.
The first thing is whenever you receive a drink, almost hold your glass with two hands to show respect towards the person pouring.
You should also never pour your own drink first as this is considered selfish. You should pour others drinks and then put the bottle down and someone else will take it and pour your drink for you.
If you're not trying to get drunk, make sure that when you're done drinking you leave it full because whenever someone sees an empty glass, they'll just immediately pour you another one. Things can get crazy if you're not careful.
