Chapter 2

PUT ME DOWN JAKE!!!!!

I open my eyes to see that I'm in the office and every one was staring at me. I felt my face turn red. See Jake sitting at the end of, he was staring at me with sadness in his eyes. What happened I said while rubbing my head and why is my hand wet. I look at my hand it's covered in blood!!! I open my mouth to scream. Then I feel something warm cover my mouth. I look at him with fear in my eyes.

I found you laying on the floor covered in blood, so I picked you up and carried you hear. They said I could stay here and keep you company. So I did.

"How long was I out?"

"7 minutes maybe less."

"Oh okay. why did you stay here with me?"

"You looked lonely your friends wondered off but Lizzy, Morgan, and Shaina came in here to see if you were ok."

"That's only because Lizzy's my cousin and Morgan is her best friend and they like to follow each other. Shaina came in because she's my BFF." I say as I start to staring into space.

Jake looks at me with symphony in his eyes. He puts his hand on mine and I felt like I could tell him anything. Then he looks up at me.

"As long as I'm around you'll never be alone."

How did he know I felt alone? Whatever. then Hake changes the subject and snaps me out of my thoughts.

"So why did you punch Azden in the nose?" I look at him with annoyance in my glare.

"I don't feel like fighting with you right now so I guess I'll tell you."

"It happened this morning. I was walking to my home room when I herd Azden talking to some kids. So I look around the corner to see who it was. When I saw my brothers Terry and Hayden. So I freaked out and dropped my books. Then looked fully around the corner and saw he had them pinned to the wall. Then Azden said. What are you gonna do about it there is no one here to help you wimps. I was so mad I walked right up to him and picked him up by his shirt. Then I turned to Hayden and Terry and told them to go to their class and don't say a word about it. GO! Then I turned around to face Azden. I was still holding his shirt.

Then I said don't ever talk to my brothers like that again! so I punched him in the nose. That's how I got detention.

I feel a sharp pain in my head. I rub my head. Jake looks at my with sadness in his eyes. Then I pull out a sharp nail. It must have chipped of her finger.

Then I realize Jake was still holding my hand, but now it started to hurt. I looked at him and I could tell he was mad.

"Do you want to work on homework together?" I said. Then Jake snaps out of his thoughts.

"Do you want me to get everything out of you'r locker?" Jake said while sounding confused.

"No! I'll get everything I need out of locker." I try to stand up, but I fall right back down.

"Do you need help?" I looked at Jake knowing I had no say in this choice.

"Fine you can help me." Jake picks me up bridal style and sets me on my feet again. I put my arm over his shoulder and we walk right out of the office without anyone stoping us.

When we get closer to my locker the bell rings, and we look out the doors to see people lining up out side. They all start to stare at us and I can feel my cheeks turn red. I see Jake look at me.

"What are you looking at?" Who was obviously trying not to laugh.

"Nothing." He turns away from me and we continue to walk to my locker.
