Jacob
I heard her stop breathing as her parents came closer to the cottage.
"Nessie, calm down. I won't let them hurt you."
"Well duh, Jake, they would never hurt me." She said a little stunned.
I was bewildered. "Then what are you afraid of?"
She hesitated. "What they will think. I mean, I am supposed to be daddy's little angel! And look at me now! I am seducing a werewolf for crying out loud! I should be quarantined."
She hid her face in her hands. I laughed.
Edward and Bella walked in just then
"Nessie, what's wrong?" Edward said looking straight at me with critical eyes.
Ness looked at me panic stricken. She would never get the words out.
i smiled warmly at her and then replayed the scene in my head. Everything from when she first saw me to her hanging her head in shame.
I guess I put my emotions too deep into the memory because Edward winced multiple times, and his nostrils never stopped being flared. His fists were clenched.
He looked at me like he wanted to kill me.
Bella realized his tension and said "Edward, honey what's the mat-"Then her face got some understanding and some fear in it.
"Ness, baby, are you pregnant?" she said in a very low shaky tone.
"NO" Nessie almost screamed at her. She was utterly shocked that she came to that assumption.
"Oh." Bella sighed. She was obviously relieved.
Edward still looked at me like he was going to kill me but there was one outstandingly clear question in his eyes.
Did I sleep with her?
'No!' I said very loudly in my head. 'Of course not!'
He seemed to relax a little after that.
"Then what is it?" Bella said extremely curious.
Edward replied to her. "Honey, Renesmee got very strong very sudden feelings for Jacob this morning," he sounded like someone was strangling him. "They got very close. Jacob enjoyed himself quite a lot."
She sounded strangled as well. "How close is close?"
I spoke up now. "Hold on a second! We just kissed!"
"It almost went a whole lot further than that!" Edward nearly snarled at me.
"But it didn't!" I retorted.
Renesmee go up and went in between us. "Don't fight!"
She said with tears streaming down her face.
Edward and I both took a step back.
Bella said soothingly to Edward, "Honey, it was bound to happen sooner or later. You are really overreacting! Calm Down."
He looked at her and then back at me with calmer eyes. How does she do that? I was all but positive he was going to rip my throat out, but now he barely looked peeved.
"Renesmee, do you love him?"
"Yes, daddy, I do."
He sighed "Okay, then." You have my blessing.
Bella smiled. So did Renesmee, but hers was more halfhearted. She was still nervous.
Edward and Bella started walking to their bedroom. To talk about this, I suppose. But when she walked past, she slipped something into my pocket. A note. And something else.
I walked over to Renesmee and gave her a hug. She laughed. "I thought he was going to kill you." She said.
"Well, he didn't."
"A miracle."
I laughed too. I kissed her lightly on the lips.
"Want to go for a walk?"
"Sure! Be right back!" she ran to her room. To put up her hair or something. Girl stuff.
I looked in my pocket for the first time and I read the note that said 'Be safe'
Oh god... and a condom. Nice.
Why was everyone so goddamn sexual in this house?!
It was just a kiss!!!
Nessie returned in no time. "Ready!" she said.
"Let's go." I replied.
