«What's your name?» The unfamiliar woman asked abruptly. She was sitting in a chair beside me, wearing a denim blue uniform. Great, a cop...
«Abbey...» I mumbled . I looked around and realized that I was in a hospital room, although I didn't have a single wound on my body and didn't feel any pain.
«Abigail?» The woman continued to interrogate me.
«Yes, Abigail. Abigail Greenberg.»
«Well Abigail, some people are here to see you, you really worried them. Should I leave you to it?»
«Why? What happened?» I was still in shock and I had no clue as to why I was sitting in a hospital bed with a cop questioning me.
«You don't remember? You were found unconscious in an abandoned building outside Haddonfield.» She answered clearly confused.
«How long ago was that?» I asked all wrought up. I panicked. I couldn't remember a thing! What if I had been kidnapped? How long had I been out? It could have been weeks, months! I started hyperventilating when a becalming hand touched my shoulder.
«It's okay, you were only out for 22 hours after your boyfriend found you.» She said as if she had read my mind.
«Who?» I had no idea who she was talking about. Suddenly, I realized that along with what had happened, I also couldn't remember the people close to me. Not my family, not my friends, not my neighbors. I could only remember two things, my name, and a number: 4257 803

«You said there are people that have come to see me. Where are they?» I wondered who it could be. Maybe if it was my family, they could fill in all the memory gaps I had, help me remember.
«They're in the waiting room, should I tell them you woke up?»
«Yes, please tell them to come in»
The policewoman got up and paced out of the room. All I could hear was indistinct chattering and whispering. I wondered if any of them would feel familiar or if I would recognize them right away.
All of a sudden, a large group of people walks in. I couldn't recognize any of them.
