"Your little boyfriend keeps looking at me," Arianna pointed out, licking her already glossed lips. "If he's not careful, I might just snatch him up."
Gina rolled her eyes. "First of all, he's not my boyfriend. Second, he's damn sure not looking at your ugly ass."
"Shoo, maybe he likes ugly," Ari argued, eyeing Gina with distaste. "He did date you."
Gina's jaw dropped in surprise. "Bitch!"
Arianna burst into a loud ugly laugh.
"Girl, you know I'm just messing with you!" She said, giving her friend a playful shove. "You look cute as fuck and we both know Terry is the only man for me," the girl added, sending a lustful glance in Terry's direction.
Gina scrunched up her nose at her friend's behavior. "You're so damn nasty, Ari. That boy is decades older than you."
Ari rolled her eyes. "You're so dramatic it's not even funny. That man is only two years older than me."
"Which is why I don't understand why you keep calling him a man."
"Shut up! You're just mad 'cause he's your step brother."
"Precisely," Gina replied.
"Damn, Gina," a voice rumbled from behind her.
She whirled around only to see Orlando towering over her. Orlando was tall and it wasn't because Gina was short. He was really up there. To the point where he had to duck every time he walked through the door. He was smirking down at her and licking his lips like a lightskin on Snapchat.
"Hi," she mumbled shyly.
When did her voice get so squeaky?
"You been holding up the wall since you walked through the door. What's up with you?"
"Nothing, just don't feel like dancing."
"Aw, come on. You can't go to a party and not dance. Dance with me," he offered with a charming smile.
His dark complexion really complimented his white teeth.
"Um..."
"Boy bye!" Arianna answered for her friend. "She don't want your big, thirsty ass."
"I just wanna dance," Orlando said, throwing his hands up in defense. "Come on, Gina. You're not gonna diss me at my own party, are you?"
Gina looked over at Ari who had her arms crossed and brows raised in disapproval. Then, she looked across the room at Micheal, her ex who Ari claimed was looking at her. He was walking out with Lacie Wilson.
She looked back at Orlando and forced a smile to her face.
"Of course, I'll dance with you."
