Chapter 1

4 days after the battle, Land of Dawn is finally at peace. It had been 3 days since Aidi went home. His creations were at the battle so he had no choice but to join in the war as well. After the smoke at the battleground cleared, he went there to pick up his creations....or whatever that was left of them anyway. He did not create any androids for war because he felt that it was immoral. Therefore, he created weapons like cannons or swords.

"Hey Tigreal. Could you come with me to pick up my weapons? I need them to check whether I could improve them or no."
"Yeah sure. Wait.", he turned his head back to find Alucard. "Hey Alucard! Aidi and I are going to the battlefield! We're gonna pick up his guns! Wanna come?!"
"Cool it big guy. I could hear you from miles away! I'm not even that far from you!", Alucard replied while walking towards the two
"Heh. Just in case you didn't hear me.", the three laughed

-At the battlefield-

Aidi had collected 3 of his weapons, all of them are different. One is a sniper rifle, one is a grenade launcher and another one is an assault rifle. Not bothered to check the conditions, he put them into a bag. As he continued to do the collecting, he saw Tigreal staring across the battlefield with a sad expression on his face. Curious, Aidi approached him

"Hey, big guy. What's with the long face?"
"Nothing, just.....was it worth it?"
"What is?"
"The death of our army, our soldiers, our brothers. Their sacrifice. Was it really necessary? "
"Look, Tigreal. I'm not good with being sentimental and all. In fact, I despise it. It makes me feel down and when I'm down, I can't get shit done. ", Aidi said. Those words were sharp and quite rude.
"I know, bu-"
"But, we must remember who we were up against. Vexana. That bitch and her army of undead were a challenge for us. It's war afterall. Death cannot be evaded. But look where we are now. We have won! If not for their sacrifices, we would not be standing here. You know what I'm gonna do after this? I'm gonna fix my weapons and improve them. I don't want to see more bloodshed. "
".......you know what? That's pretty sentimental", Tigreal burst out laughing.

Aidi punched Tigreal in his stomach. He did not feel the punch because of the armour. Then, they both laughed.
"Oh zip it you. Anyway, I'm done here. Where's Alucard?"
"He's over there. Talking to his boyfriend over the phone"

"HE'S NOT MY BOYFRIEND!", Alucard screamed to them. "Anyway, we better go now. It's getting dark."
"Yeah, yeah sure"

The trio went to their base with the weapons collected.

-At base-

Aidi packed his stuff into his bag. His tools, clothes and weapons were all packed. He was looking forward to his home. He grabbed his bag while walking towards his jeep then tossed it onto the back seat. He grabbed a bottle of mineral water before climbing into his jeep. He was going to start the engine until someone interrupted him. It was Tigreal.

"Hey Aidi. Could you give me a ride? I'm going to meet Zilong. And his house is like, 5 blocks from yours. Could you?"
"Yeah, sure thing, dude. Hop in"
"Thanks,man", Tigreal opened the door and sat on the passenger seat next to the driver's seat.

They drove down the road, heading to their destination. While they were on their way, Aidi asked Tigreal about something that had been on his mind for a while.

"Hey Tigreal"
"Yeah?"
"So uhh......how long have they been together?"
"Who?"
"Oh don't you play dumb with me, dude. Alucard and Zilong. How long have they been together? By the looks of it, I think it's been quite a while, though."
"Oh, you don't know? They act like they're not together but they are ACTUALLY together."
"I don't follow. But, they're together , right?"
"In a way, yeah"
"So, how did that happen, though?"
"Oh you know the story. They have been together since they were in their teen years. I think it happened like 3 months ago. Alucard was hunting demons in one of the so-called "Haunted Woods". He heard about a demon hiding there and all. Of course, he was pretty cocky and pretty reckless. He just dashed into the woods. To his surprise, the woods were infested with lots of those damned creatures. As cocky as he can be, he killed all of them. However, a demon managed to sneak up on him and shot some kind of acidic spit. Luckily, Zilong blocked it with his spear."
"Wait, why was Zilong the-"
"Hold on, let me finish my story. So, with Zilong there, the managed to kill most of them. After all is done, they argued. They had an argument a day before. While they were arguing, a demon spit some kind of acidic spit to Zilong. Alucard saw it and blocked the spit with his arm. The demon managed to get away though. Alucard was badly hurt because apparently the spit was really acidic. He was sent to the hospital afterwards. Oh yeah, he also fainted. Zilong stayed with him the whole night. The next day, Alucard woke up. Zilong immediately hugged him and said that he could not live without him. They kissed afterwards. 3 months later and here we are."

Aidi went quiet for a few minutes, processing the story came out of Tigreal's mouth. After a solid 2 minutes of quiet. He finally spoke

"I have a lot of questions and one of them is , how the fuck did you know all of this?"
"Oh I was there"
"Wait, WHAT?!"
"Yeah. I was there. Watched the whole thing. The fight, the kiss. Just standing there. Watching those two get together while I'm still single." Tigreal expressionlessly said .

Aidi chuckled a little. "Chill, big guy. You'll get your love life one day. The Gods work in mysterious ways. Who knows? Maybe you'll find your destined partner in battlefield one day.
"Well.......yeah. Guess you're right , Aidi. Oh, here's the place!"

Aidi pressed the brake pedal and the car stopped right in front of Zilong's house. The house has Asian design in its architecture as Zilong asked "his friend from his country to renovate the house.

Tigreal got off of Aidi's jeep and waved at Aidi. "Thanks for the ride, man!"
"No problem! Take care! I'll see you next time!", Aidi waved back at him then drove off.

Aidi droved past 5 blocks from Zilong's place and arrived at his house. His house is different than other houses. His has a backyard which leads to the forest at the back. The backyard is the place he did his experiments and projects. The house was made out of wood. The sturdiest he could find. It was built as a gift for his contribution to the army against Vexana's undead army. Tigreal said without Aidi's help, they could not have fought against Vexana. So, as a gift, the army built this house for him where he can continue his research and experiments. The house had a porch with a small table and two chairs. Perfect for evening tea time.

Aidi turned off the engine of the jeep and grabbed his bag then stepped down from the jeep. He walked to the door with the bag on his shoulder. He pushed the door with his left hand.

"I'm home!"
