I first heard them when I was about 5 or so. Well I mean it was the most common song "We Will Rock You/We are the Champions." I got real excited to hear it. Then it was featured in Drake and Josh (I loved that show), and I was like yay!!! Anyways, my mom showed me the video to Bohemian Rhapsody. My first thought: "ooh I like him! But why is he prancing in a unitard thing?!??!" Then I found the greatest hits cd. Best find for me. I sang along to every song even "Body Language"... My interest grew and I read books and finding out that the guy prancing was Freddie Mercury... The King Of All Extroverts on Stage!!! Before I read the books I had "the talk" about puberty and STDs and the worst one was AIDS... I didn't know what the hell it was so I asked how people get it. My mom only said dirty needles. But over the wonderful years, I learned you can get it from your "love partner"... Yea. I read freddie got it and seen pictures and it broke my heart. Died at 45? That's pretty young... Well not as young as the 27 club... Freddie didn't show it... I really wish I had courage like that...
