Cheers.
Cheers erupted in the room, and my heart skipped a beat. I'll always love the sound of people who love me so much that they scream. I got up from the bench as the final notes of my piece still rang. I bowed, breathing heavily. I forgot how great this was. As I returned to the door I entered from, I noticed an interesting person. Boy? Girl? I didn't catch the face, but I'm interested. I quickly followed the figure, but I was intercepted by my father. He had a frown on his face.
"That was almost perfect." He grunted, in a low taunting voice. I rolled my eyes internally. The well lit hall should've help get rid of those disgusting shadows that seemed to be physically stuck to his face, but it just made them worse. Old мудак.
Soon enough, we were back home as if I hadn't even gotten first place in a world known competition. I hate my life. I went to my room, put my headphones on and just blasted my music.
