The First Look

Chp.2

Matthew POV:

               “Hey” she said nervously. “Hey, I’m Matt, what’s your name” I said with a big smile on my face. She laughed and said “I’m Summer”.  Wow and I thought she couldn’t get any prettier.  “What a beautiful name for a beautiful girl!” She just laughed and couldn’t help but blush wow she was cute. “Matt can I ask you something”? “Anything”. I said “can you please say I love you so much Summer Glinsky, and can I record you”? She asked.

 “Of course”! I said in a girly voice. She started recording and I said: “hey it’s me Matt Espinosa and I just wanted to say I love Summer Glinsky so much “muah’” and blew her a kiss. She screamed so loud and hugged me so tight. As we took the picture I bent down and kissed her on the cheek. I know she didn’t ask me to but I knew she’d appreciate it. She screamed even louder! god she was cute, I couldn’t help but laugh.

She said thanks and went to the pit and waited. As soon as all the girls were gone and in the pit Carter and I went up on stage and ran across so no one could see us. I put my hat on and waited for Jake to introduce me. As he said my name I attempted a cartwheel and ran out on stage. Everyone laughed, and so did I! I couldn’t help it I had to make them laugh. I went to the first mic I saw and said “Summer if you’re out there I want you to come on stage with me”. She giggled and came up.

 Summer and I were waiting for Jake to tell us the game we were going to play and all of sudden “TRUTH OR DARE!” spilled out of Jake’s mouth everyone yelled and started laughing! “Carter you’re up first”. Jake said.  “Ok… Matt… kiss the prettiest girl here” Carter said with a wink. I turned to Summer and she was blushing like crazy. Oohhs and awwss filled the room and when they were all over I smashed my lips into hers she got on her tiptoes and kissed me back.

There they go again with the oohhss and awwss. She blushed looked into the crowd and ran off the stage. I kind of felt bad so I ran after her. “Summer” I practically yelled for her “Summer I love you” I meant to say in my head, but I guess it came out. She turned around tears streaming down her face. “I hope those are happy tears” I said to her. She giggled trying to hide her laugh. “So I need to know are those happy tears”? She smiled at me. “yes well sort of. I’ve loved you since the beginning. I know you are probably saying ya sure everyone says tha…” “Summer when I first saw you I instantly fell in love” I interrupted.

I couldn’t help it I had to tell her. She stated crying more and ran to me with a big smile on her face. Now those I know are happy tears. She jumped into my arms and I caught her and kissed her forehead. I let her down and her phone rang with moments by one direction as her ringtone. Ya I know one direction I have a sister who is obsessed. She answered with a cute “hello”.

 She hung up about 5 minutes later. “What’s up” I asked her?  “ohh my brother is waiting out front for me and my friends”. She said. “Ok I’ll walk you out tell him to come to the back so I don’t get mobbed by girls” I said being a gentleman. “That’d be great” she said with a big smile. “god Summer” I said “What?” she asked a little scared. “Every time you smile you put me under a spell” I said with a little grin.

She just laughed and punched me in the arm not to hard but not too soft either. “What was that for”? I asked. “For scaring me like that” she said. “I’ll go get my friends and then come back here” she said with a wink. About 5 minutes later she came with her friends they introduced themselves. And I just said “hey”.  Her brother had a jeep. They all hopped in and I said bye to summer and gave her a little kiss on the cheek. I walked back in and all the guys were looking at me with a “what was that” look on their faces.

 I just said nothing and went back to clean up. Carter came right behind me and said “Dude come on we’re best friends what’s going on”? He asked. “I just fell in love” I said with a grin on my face. “Really was it that girl that came one stage and then ran off after you kissed her”? He asked. “Well what’s her name and did you get her number?” He asked.

“Her name is Summer and yes I did”. I responded.  “Well congrats man I’m proud of you, I know it’s hard for some people to fall in love that quickly but you did and I’m proud of you. Now I have to go tell the rest of the guys“  he said and with that he left screaming like a fan girl for the other guys. When Carter left I thought I should text Summer making sure she got home ok.

M: hey! u home yet?

S: ya thx for checking! :D

M: so you want to do something tomorrow? Like go to the beach or just hang out in the hotel room or your house?

S: ya that sounds great lets go to the beach!

M: cool I’ll pick u up around 10:30! Does that sound ok?

S: yep perfect see ya then! Love you matt night! :D

M: love you too baby night! :D

               Couldn’t help but smile after she texted “love you” that just made my day I’m so glad we are staying here for 2 weeks. I should probably get to bed big day tomorrow as I went to sleep “I love you” just filled my head.
