When I saw who came in I couldn't even take how mad I was. The face I saw was Nikki. I pushed her out quickly.
Maria: why did you hit Zach?!
Nikki: I would never!
Maria: oh pls ik you did it
Nikki: you can't prove anything plus it was an accident
Maria: how do you accidentally hit someone with a car?! Did you do it because he didn't want to be with your psycho ass?!
Nikki: I wasn't trying to hit him!
Maria: then why did you drive off and not help
Nikki: well I was trying to hit y/n but Zach got in the way and I accidentally hit him.
Maria: you're a fucking psychopath!
Nikki: it's not like the police will believe you because you have no proof that I did it
Maria: I'm gonna find some way to and until then stay away from me y/n Zach and our family!
She just rolls her eyes and walks away. Once she's gone I go in to see Zach awake.
Zach's POV
I heard Maria and Nikki argue over everything. I can't believe that fucking psycho tried to hit y/n. I miss her and I have no idea where she's at. I can barely talk but I'm able to mutter
Zach: where's y/n
Maria: she left before Nikki came I have no idea why
Zach: well I need to see her
Maria: idk where she's at and she's probably heartbroken that you're in the hospital and she watched you get hit
Zach: call her and get her over here I need to see her pls
Maria: fine
She walks out of the room to call y/n and I just wait there patiently. My mom talks to me but I just don't answer. I just think of y/n and everything that happened. I love that girl so much I would do anything for her I saved her life back there and I have no regrets. She means the world to me she is my world I would not be able to live with myself if I lost her. Soon I see her come into the door and I look at her with joy. She has some tears in her eyes and she comes up to give me a hug and I hug back.
Y/n's POV
I see him and I couldn't help but be teary eyed from seeing him in that condition. I go up and give him a hug and he hugs back. Soon I'm crying into his shoulder.
Y/n: why did you do that I'm the one that should've got hit not you
Zach: I could never lose you.
Y/n: you saved my life Zach and almost lost your own.
Zach: trust me I know that and I'm happy I did because if I were to lose you I'd have nothing. Yeah I'd have wonderful family and friends but I would lose their person that means the most to me.
Y/n: now you know how I feel about you.
He just sighs and says
Zach: I love you
Y/n: I love you too baby boy now get some rest.
He nods and falls asleep. I hold his hand while he sleeps. He looks so peaceful. I can't help but smile. All of us are just watching him in silence for a while until Myta breaks the silence by saying
Myta: how about we all go home and give Zach some space and let him rest.
I quickly shake my head no and reply
Y/n: no I'm not leaving him here alone
I grab his hand and lay my head on it holding it tight. They don't try to move me or anything and they just leave.
~time skip to when he's fine~
Zach's doing really well since he's got out of the hospital.
~skip a year because I'm lazy~
Me and Zach are having our one year anniversary tonight and he's taking me out for dinner. He tells me to get dresses really nice so I do what he says. Once I open the door to let him in he looks me up and down
Y/n: what
Zach: you're so gorgeous
I blush at his comment and he drives us to a fancy restaurant.
Y/n: Zach wow this place is... Woah
He chuckles with his hot chuckle and takes me to our seats that he reserved. Once we get out food Zach can't wat for me to pick up my fork. I just laugh at it and pick it up to see a ring.
Y/n: Zach....
