The story is based on a true historical facts of an island in the Philippines once called " an Island of the Living Dead". During the American regime in the country, Culion island was designated as the Leper colony due to the rising incident of leprosy which by that time was incurable.
During 1901- 1910, lepers around the country were rounded up and sent to the island, leaving their families and loved ones. The first inhabitants of the colony were from Cebu, with almost 400 living dead, who saw no future at the island of no return.
It was hell within a paradise. But amidst the chaos, the experiments to discover the cure and the struggle to be sane, will emerged the stories of faith, a new breed of fighters, the patron of freedom and love.
