When I Met You

It's only the beginning

I wake up and look at the time, "Shit!" I yell as I see that it is 7:00am and I have to be at the bus stop by 7:10am to be ready for the bus at 7:15am. I look in my drawer, grab random clothes and run into the bathroom to slip them on. I put on a little eyeliner. I don't wear much makeup because there really isn't anything that can make me prettier. I rush out the door to the bus stop. Today is my first day of school and I'm nevous. I see six people lined up at the bus stop and I get in line too. As I see the bus coming up, my stomach starts to turn.

I make it in the school and get everything in my locker and go to my first class, math. My day kind of is seeming to just fly by.

I haven't met one person, and it's already lunch. I sit by myself as a girl in a flower covered dress with a light brown belt around her.

"Hi! I'm Sammy Gurlock. I'm guessing your the new girl Cassidy Hyde" I look at her in complete disgust. "Yep, that's me." I somehow end up saying with a smile.

"Would you like to come sit with me and my friends?"

"Yeah, sure." I say as I slowly stand up and grab my lunch.

"This is Emma, Kayleigh, Megan, and Lindsey" she says as she points to everyone.

"Hi." I shyly and quietly say.

I eat my lunch and walk to my locker to grab my things and head off to the next class. As I'm in the hallway, I meet a girl named Jerica. She has blondish brown hair and is wearing sweatpants and one of her basketball shirts.

"Hi. I'm Jerica. Let me guess. Your new?"

"Yep." I say as I walk away.

Here I am, in study hall. All I can think about is getting out of this hell. I look to my right to see a group of girls passing notes and looking at me and giggling. And then finally, the bell rang. I get home to see my mom on the couch watching a movie.

"How'd your day go?" She says.

"Alright." I say and walk to my room.

I get in my book bag and grab my math book and get on with my homework. Then I see on my phone that I have a friends request on Facebook. It's Jerica. She messages me.

"Hey."

"Hi"

"What are you up too?" She says.

"Homework"

"Cool. You want to come over?"

I have to think for a second. Wait, we met in the hallway and I said one thing and walked away like a total bitch, and she wants to hang out with me? Hmm. This town might not be to bad after all.

"Uh sure, can you come pick me up?"

"I sure can. Where do you live ?"

I give her my address and she's at my house with in 10 minutes .

"Where are you going ?" My mom yells behind me.

"To a friends"

"Ok be back by midnight!" She says.

I jump in the car to see Jerica, her mother, Mandy, and her step dad, Geoff.

Welcome to Hiltop Trailer court!

I see on a sign as we come down a road. And we pull into the trailer court.

We walk around and talk about things like where I came from, do I have brothers and sisters, my favorite color, and a bunch of other things.

We get back to the house and get something to eat. A blonde shaggy haired guy comes to the front of the house yelling for Jerica. We sit on the counter and open the windows and start talking to him threw the window. "This is Tyler." Jerica says.

"Who is she?" Tyler asks.

"This is Alexis"

BAM!

Oh shit, did I really just do that? I fell off of the counter. How stupid can I actually be!

"Hahahahahaha!!!" Jerica is laughing historically.

"Where'd she go?" Tyler asked.

"She fell off the counter!! Hahahaha!" Jerica answered.

I just stand by the counter for the remaining of the time so I didn't fall off again.

I stayed the night with Jerica and the next morning, we head to school. She introduces me to her friend, Chad.

"Oh my god he is so adorable."I think to myself. He had brown hair and brown eyes. He was wearing a shit that said "Just Do it!" And a pair of blue jeans. "Hi.." I say quietly.

"Hello." He answers.

"Jerica, you want me to come to your house after school?" Chad asks.

"Well duh! You do almost everyday." She replied.

Oh no, I'm gonna be at her house too.. I'm gonna say something I probably shouldn't and seem stupid... I just know it..
