Almost The End

Life is so bleak.
I ponder it all as I sit by the creek
While the water grazes my feet
I ask myself, Why do I feel so incomplete?
I wonder where I went wrong
Why couldn't it have been like a love song
What caused my life to feel meaningless
What did I do to be treated as less

I climb to the structures full height
Oh my it truly is a wonderful sight
I walk to the bridges edge
And peer over the ledge
I slowly breathe in the cold air
When the breeze softly caresses my hair
Ready to let my body drop
I think to my self...STOP!

This can't be my end
I must allow my mentality to mend
I will continue on this earth
For I must prove my worth
