After breakfast we got ready for school. We had about 3 hours to spare so I hopped into the shower. The hot water felt amazing against my skin. I washed slowly. It rare I shower in hot water. When I got out the shower I dressed in some black fitted tights and purple shorts along with a red shirt and a vest. I brushed my hair in the mirror of the dresser in my room. Knock came at the door. "Come in." Asashin opened the door. He had a shirt in his hand. "Be leaving in a bit" "ok. Put your shirt on." "Ok mom" "don't start with me." He chuckled slipping his shirt on and walking over. I was brushing my hair. He smiled at me through the mirror. I looked at him through the mirror a few times. "What?" "Nothing" I put the brush down and moved some hair to the side then huffed putting the hair over my face. He laughed and moved the hair out my face. Then he grabbed the brush and gently brushed my hair over my shoulder. His touch was gentle. I smiled when he finished and put his hands on my shoulders. "Ready?" "Sure." I stood and slipped some red shoes on. We grabbed our bags and left the house. The whole walk there,which took like 40-50 minutes tops, I couldn't get last night out of my mind. My best friend turning into a dragon right I front of my eyes, my best friend escape with me from my deadly father. Me processing the fact that. My best friend lives alone..and that he lied about his parents being strict and not letting anyone come over. I looked at him with a look of many things in my eye. He caught my look and chuckled lightly. "Hehe. You look more confused than a mouse being comforted by a cat " I made a face at him looking forward. " don't worry. Soon everything will make sense." "Heh. That'll be the day" getting to school we walked in pushing each other laughing. We made it to class and sat down. "I now know why you always make it to school kinda late." He grinned. After class we went throughout school. When lunch came around we went to the courtyard and talked. "So..let me get this straight..this isn't my home planet..or dimension or W.e..and I was sent here to be kept safe..because I'm the next heir to the throne of a dragon kingdom and you were sent after me to keep me safe..but somehow I ended up with the "father" I have now?" He nodded, "yep pretty much." "Huh..well then..I'm gonna proves this..and uh" He stood and walked over arms out. I fell into them unconscious..for I had fainted.
