So remember when we were driving, driving in your car Speed so fast I felt like I was drunk City lights lay out before us And your arm felt nice wrapped 'round my shoulder And I had a feeling that I belonged I had a feeling that I could be someone.
It has been two days, I was at a sleepover at Cheryl's. Her mother doesn't really mind me because she thinks Im straight. "Bub, does this look good?" She asked. "You slay girl." I replied. "For a straight woman you talk a lot like a gay." Cheryl snarked. "Offensive." I scoffed. We were in the same room as her mother so. "Everyday is payday. Swipe card then I do he nae nae. You're talkin to a laday." I sang quietly. "Really?' Cher giggled. "shhh shut your mouth." I sang teasingly. She then hit me with a pillow. "Now now my dear. Would you do me a favour and actually try to hurt me next time." I smiled. "O I can hurt you if you want me to." She smirked. "Is that the time? Must rush. Things to do. People to slap. You get the gist." I smiled innocently as I quickly got up and smiled at the thee people in the room before sprinting for my life. "Wait! I was gonna cave your head in!" Cheryl called after me jokingly. "I have a study date, I need to look good." I yelled. "You're off the hook. Have fun studying." She yelled. I ran outside and drove home. I got into different clothes, I then took Charli to Pop's. When we arrived, Betty and Ronnie were there. Charli got excited and ran over to them. "Betty! Ronnie!" She squealed. "Favourite child!" Ronnie grinned and picked her up. "Can we sit?" I asked. "Sure. We were just talking about how Ethel is acting strange." Betty replied. "Well duh. She can do what she wants to me. Just stay the chicken nugget away from my family." I sighed. "Chicken nugget?" Robe raised her eyebrows. "There is a child here." I pointed out. "True true." She chuckled. "Did you hear the hilltop Hoods new song?" I asked. "Jug made me listen to it." Betty replied. "It's awesome." I grinned. "Your view on awesome and mine are different and I am so grateful for that." Betty commented. "How is Jug?" I asked. "He broke up with me." Betty replied. "What? Why?" I asked. "Because apparently dating him is dangerous." She replied. "Dating me is dangerous. Like, have you seen me when I'm sleep deprived?" I chuckled. "I have!" Charli grinned. "Wanna go to the bathroom?" I asked. "Yes please." She replied. "I'll go, you two talk." Betty smiled and took Charli to the bathroom. "You know what sucks?" She asked. "The politics these days. As my brother Noah once said. Screw the politics." I replied. "You used to swear all the time. What happened?" Ronnie asked. "It's just a habit from avoiding it whilst I'm around Charlotte." I sighed. "You should come over to mine, let it all out." Toni's voice chuckled from behind me. "Wow Topaz. Just wow." I sighed. "No but really." She giggled. I rolled my eyes and got up to go to the bathroom. "I'll be back soon." I sighed and walked to the bathroom. "She didn't sleep." I heard Ronnie comment. "Betty, why does Y/N like girls and not boys?" Charlotte asked. "Well Charli, Y/N thinks it doesn't matter if the person is girl or boy. She meets a person and thinks they're very nice. She eventually will love them. But not at first." Betty replied. "Mommy said That it isn't right, but daddy said it's ok because my real Mommy was like that. But I don't know now. Is it good or bad?" She asked. "It's good. Believe me. Don't let anyone tell you who you can and can't love. Not mom, not anyone." I stated as I walked out of my spot. "Really?" Charli Asked. "Of course cutely pie. You are who you are. There isn't a wrong or right. It's who you want to be. If you want to like girls, go for it, if you like boys that's cool. But you don't get cooties from girls." I chuckled. "That's cool. What does Noah think?" Charli asked. "He was the first person I told. Apart from Xheryl. But he said that he loves me no matter what. Just remember. Mom might not approve. But you have me, Noah, Dad, Mom, Cheryl, Bett, Ronnie, Jughead and Kevin. She doesn't stand a chance. You're the best thing in my life. I won't let anything or anyone hurt you." I promised. "You're the best big sister ever." She smiled and reached up. I picked her up and hugged her. "You're the best little sister ever." I Now was slightly crying. The door opened and in strolled none other than Ethel. "Hello Dyke." She smirked. "What does Dyke mean?" Charli asked. "It's a bad word for people who likes the same gender." I replied. "What are you teaching your poor sister? She's going to grow up gay." Ethel scoffed. "I might be gay, but at least I'm not a bitch." Charli spat. "Welp, looks like She did hear me swearing." I sighed. "How does it feel that you were classed by a five year old Ethel?" Betty smiled. "Your sister is a bitch." Ethel growled at me. "Say That again, I dare you." I growled. "She's a bitch." Ethel smirked. "Good. All bitches do what they're told. Who's the bitch now?" I smirked and Charli High fived me. "Ladies, can I say Charli, I'm proud of you." Cheryl grinned as she walked in. "Hello gorgeous." I smiled. "What would your girlfriend say about that?" Ethel asked. "She would say something like 'I don't mind that you call your best friend gorgeous but I want you to know. That you're more gorgeous'." Toni replied walking in. "Ok, there are like ten fucking thousand people in here, can some of you leave?" I sighed. "You go, we can handle this." Toni replied. "But I want to see you pissed off." I whined. "You get to see me after." She winked. "See you later." I smirked and Betty, Charli and I left. We sat with Veronica for a few minutes. "Need us to take Charli home?" Betty asked. "It'll Be Fine." I replied. That's when Toni and Cheryl both walked out of the bathroom. "On second thought." I smirked. "Hey baby. Wanna come back to mine?" Toni asked. "Yes please." I replied smirking. "What about meeee?" Charli whined. "You're going with Betty and Ronnie." I replied. "Yay!" She grinned. "I'll just let Dad know.
