Explaining

Indies POV

I backed away slowly until u crashed into the wall. They can't know.

flashback

"Come 'ere slut" I wriggled away from James but he was faster. He reached for my neck and pushed me against the wall I wriggled but his grip was too hard for me to get out of. Black spots covered my eyes but suddenly I had a rush of energy. I pushed him with all my might, but what I saw next wasn't what I expected. Dad flew all the way across the room and crashed into the wall. I look down at my hands which are red and blustering. Wide eyed, I stared at my dad now in conscious in a heap. I hear police sirens and the world goes black.

End of flash back

I start to shake as I hear Zoe and Alfie come through the door from the kitchen looking shocked and scared.

" Was wrong?" Zoes asked. I just shook my head so fast I felt dizzy. I stared back and fourth at them trying to read their exspressions. Nothing

" So you have powers?" Asked Alfie quietly. I looked Down and nodded.

" its a very rare brain cell some people are born with, it means you have a 6th scense and have two brains, one is normal and the other is an alien brain." I said whilst kicking the floor lightly without looking up. Silence. They didn't start screaming like I thought they would, instead I felt strong arms wrap around. I let the tears escape me and hugged my parents back.

" I love you guys" I wispared.

" We love you too" Zoe said whilst kissing my head tenderly. And just like that I felt my eyes droop as I fell asleep.
