Thaaaaaaaat's right! I am now HOOKED on Sanders Sides. If you don't know, this is a series on YouTube created by former Viner, Thomas Sanders that has been going on for about two years now (and still going on today). I HIGHLY recommend you watch it.

In this story, Thomas is 24 years old (2nd year out of college), and Makena is 23 (5th-year senior).

Anyways, this is a darker twist to the series. There is self-harm, suicidal thoughts, and mentions of abuse. However, there is no cursing/cussing. For my younger audience, read at your own risk.

Enjoy!! <3

Virgil sat in his room, waiting to be called back up into the Mindspace to have another debate with everyone. Even though he acted as if he didn't want to be there, he loved trying to make Roman as angry and frustrated as he could get. He chuckled at the thought before being whisked up into the Mindspace.

Virgil sighed. "A little warning, next time please?" he groaned.

"Sorry, Virge," Thomas exclaimed, "but I wanted all of you to meet my friend, Makena!"

Thomas had his arm around a small girl, maybe around 5'5" at the most. She had dirty blond hair with blonder streaks layered throughout, bright green eyes that could have been from a glow stick, and a small half-smile that seemed to calm Virgil down easily.

Makena seemed startled by the numerous clones of Thomas. In response, Thomas just rubbed her shoulder and comforted, "Don't worry. This is just my personality separated into different categories. They just appear in human form."

Makena silently nodded and eased up.

"But, how can she see us?" Logan inquired, examining the room to attempt to solve this mystery.

"Well, you guys never pop up when my other friends are around, so I guess they could see us if you all came up sooner." Thomas tried to explain it, but Logan just rolled his eyes as if it were just some excuse to keep the conversation moving.

Patton brightly waved and had a ginormous smile on his face. "Hi! I'm Morality, but you can call me Dad!"

Thomas quickly whispered to Makena, "His name is Patton."

Logan cleared his throat. "Salutations. My name is Logan. I am Thomas's logical side."

"GREETINGS!!!!" A loud voice echoed from the corner. Startled, Makena looked over to see Roman posing in the corner. "Allow me to introduce myself. I am Roman, Thomas's creativity! My formal title is Princey!"

Virgil spoke up. "No, it--"

"Oh, hush, Jack Smellington! I am just making her feel more comfortable. This doesn't have to be a formal thing, now does it?"

Makena turned to Thomas and asked, "Does this happen all the time?" Her voice was higher than most of Thomas's friends', but she sounded so kind and soothing whenever she spoke.

He smiled, gave a chuckle, and said, "Pretty much. Nothing too serious, though."

Virgil rolled his eyes at Roman before speaking to Makena in a deep and quiet voice. "Hey, umm... I-I'm Virgil. Call me Virge. I am Thomas's anxiety."

Makena's eye twitched a little bit, making Virgil assume that she hated him right from the start. He took a deep breath and reminded himself that he didn't need to jump to a conclusion.

"Makena is on break from college this week," Thomas explained, "So I invited her over."

"Excellent." Logan said in the most enthusiastic voice he could muster, but it still sounded a little bland. He adjusted his glasses before asking, "What are you studying?"
