"class! today- ah sooyoung, on time are we?" sooyoung dismissed the teachers remark and walked over to her seat, placing herself onto the plastic chair. she sighed, laying her head onto the soft palm of her hand.

her eyes wandered to the window, watching the birds and cars pass by, ignoring the words that came out of the teachers mouth. her voice becoming a mumble in the background of sooyoungs life. she lowered her brown orbs to the empty chair beside her, the seat usually occupied by yeeun, smiling as she remembered their conversation over the phone earlier that day.

her bright smile soon faded as the emptiness of the seat was pushed out of its place, being replaced by a young boy. taehyung.

sooyoung looked the male up and down, unimpressed with his presence, before taking out her makeup and mirror.

"you know, you'll get in trouble for that." the tall brunette spoke, pointing out what the girl already knew, having experienced that 'trouble'.

sooyoung scoffed at the boys obliviousness. he had clearly not paid attention to what she did and did not care about over the past three months. breaking the rules was one she did not care for. "yeah, and what's it to you?"

taehyung was slightly taken back yet not surprised at her rudeness. it's what she was good at. or that's what he could tell she was good at. seeming as she was in most of his classes and was rude to pretty much everyone but her friends and the other 'popular' kids. "i was just saying." he mumbled, focusing his attention on something else.

sooyoung rolled her eyes at this, already fed up with the boy. she placed the mirror down on the table, putting her makeup in her bag, replacing it with a bright blue energy drink. now it was taehyungs turn to roll his eyes. but not without the younger girl noticing. "what?" she scoffed but before taehyung could respond she started speaking again. "what are you doing here anyway? i thought you sat at the front."

"i do. but we're working together so i came and sat here." the boy explained. sooyoung raised her eyebrows, lowering her drink from her lips.

"working together?"
