A while ago I decided to send a dm to a girl I saw on IG. She looked beautiful in her recent story and I thought she might appreciate a compliment. I sent her a simple dm in hopes that it'll make her smile. But boy, I was so wrong. A day had passed, it quickly turned into a week, before I knew it a couple of months had gone by now it's been a year since I sent her that message and it hasn't been seen at all.
I felt dumb for trying my luck, but truth be told. Who am I kidding? She's absolutely beautiful and definitely way out of my league. Did I mention she's famous too? She probably earns more money than I do, wait scratch that. Not probably, but definitely. Hence, why I shook it off and moved on with my daily life, working long hours at the hotel reception as usual. The idea of sending her a dm became a distant memory as life takes up most of my mind anyways. It was mundane until I got my biggest surprise notification a year later.
