CHAPTER fouRTeEn: pArADoxEs

      They got back to the real world and went down to the room in which the past Italy is in. They thought about what they should do as they approached. As they did, a metal rod came out of the center of the clock. Ib felt something warm in her pocket. She pulled out the watch. She stared at it. It was glowing yellow like the metal rod. "Maybe..." she said, as she hooked it on to it, through the triangular hole, in which the silver chair was still attached to. It glowed blue now, except for the crow, which was glowing white. Italy watched as she pushed it down and the past Italy dissappeared. "... Wait a second. Japan!" Italy exclaimed. Ib, remembering, pulled up the crown, stopping time. She forgot that Italy wasn't holding unto the chain. She unhooked it from the clock, wrapped the hook around Italy, pushed the crown down and pulled it back up. Now, Italy was not stuck in time. Ib nodded, saying "Let's go.". Italy nodded back and they did. Once they reached Japan, Ib pushed the crown down and Italy checked for his pulse. "Oh thtank goodness, he's still alive.". There was a large crashing sound from downstairs and the monster came up from the stairs. Italy said "Stop time and bring Japan with you. I will stay here until you come back. I anything happens there to make time go normal, atleast I will be here to help Doitsu (Germany) and the others. Ib pulled the crown up. She tried to carry Japan. He was incredibly heavy and was hard to move. She thought for a minute and wrapped the chain on Japan's arm. She pushed the crown down and back up. She can hear him breathing and he was lighter. She dragged him over to the other side of the painting. She ran around looking his rose. She soon found a white rose and placed it to the nearest vase, just outside the room. She went back to Japan, who she left in the room. All his wounds are healed. She waited for him to awaken. Once he did, she filled him in on what happened. "Oh... so this place... is inside a painting." he said. "Yes" Ib replied. "I noticed that if you come out from this side" she gestured to the duplicate of the Fabricated World "your bodies condition will remain not change. But if come out of the other side, no signs of you ever being here will be seen on you body."."Okay. Can't we just use this place for an exit." Japan asked. "That's what I was thinking." Ib replied "But I'm not sure. Even if I can control the frames that block our way of going through the worlds, I can't guarantee that we will find the way out. The rooms and halls keep on changing.". "I think, we should discuse this with the others first." he said. Ib agreed. They went out of the painting and went back to Italy. Once they were there, she let the time flow go back to normal and Italy and Japan just stared at each other. A second later, they charged at the monster. "Ib!" Italy yelled "Go get help from the others." She ran to the safe room and told the others. They immediately ran out to help. Before leaving, England looked back at her at the doorway and said "Stay, here." and left.

       She layed down on her bed and stared at the ceiling. She heard a thud on the metal door. She sat up and walked over to the door. In the process, she saw the palette knife that's covered in red paint and picked it up.Should I open it? she asked herself. She heard Italy yell for help. There was the sound of the monster dying off. She opened the door. The room was empty. She stepped out, walked down the hall and saw Italy and the others now fighting multiple monsters down the staircase. She went back to the room before the safe room to find a monster there. It chased her. She ran to the art room and jumped throung the painting. The monster followed. She ran and found a gray rose on a vase. She grabbed it and picked the petals out. Once there was none left, the monster let out a wail but did not vanish. A voice spoke behind her.

       "Does this mean..... I'm free?" Mary said. Ib looked at her and smiled " I suppose so". Mary ran to Ib and hugged her, yelling "I'm free!" repeatedly. They started finding their way back. While walking Ib found a silver chain, identical to the one attached to the watch. Beside it, a glass sword. She asked "Can I see the pallete knife?" Ib asked. "Oh... Okay." Mary said. She showed it to her. "It's covered in red paint, though. I got in a fight with the truth- speaker at the Lair's room. "Can you help me?!" Ib asked. "S-sure!" Mary said, she was caught of guard when Ib raised her voice.

     She left two pieces of paper, in replacement of the glass sword and the silver chain. She and Mary travelled through time leaving all, the clues she's seen where she saw them. They returned to the safe room after that.
