Fixing Errors

Chapter nine

Eraser woke slowly, he opened his eyes seeing Reboot not on his side of the bed...
He stretched out and looked to the other side of the room.
Reboot wasn't in the room.
But his pyjamas again were folded on the desk, meaning he had gotten dressed.

He stayed put and laid in the bed for a little while.
Eventually he heard someone coming up the stairs.

"Racy?" Reboot peeked his head in the door.
Eraser stared at him.
"Um, I made breakfast? If you want some?" Reboot said softly, also a little confused with Eraser's staring.
Eraser nodded and got out of bed.
He followed Reboot down the stairs to the kitchen.

Reboot had gone all out with breakfast...
Bacon, eggs, pancakes... It all looked so good too!
Eraser stared at Reboot with wide eyes.
"Jam has already ate, he had to go." Reboot smiled.
Reboot handed Eraser a plate. "Eat something."

Eraser had so much he swore he wouldn't eat for the rest of the day, just being so full.

Eraser wanted to say he "forgot"about hanging out with Marvul.
But, of course Reboot reminded him about it.

They eventually cleaned up from breakfast and got ready to go.

Marvul and Halluciv's place wasn't far from theirs.

It was at least 11:00 when they got there.
Eraser was hesitant about knocking...

He didn't want this... He knew perfectly well what he was getting them into.

Before he could even knock, Halluciv opened the door.
"Oh! Hello!" He said happily looking at Eraser.
"Lucy!" Reboot gasped.
"Reboot!!" Halluciv looked at his bestie and gave him a hug.
Reboot hugged back. "How've you been!"
"I got a date with Senp- Xcellence!"
"That's awesome!" Reboot congratulated his friend.
Eraser glanced inside their house, averting his eyes from the two small squealing skeletons.
He saw Marvul glaring right at him...
"I'm actually going right now, so I'll have to catch up with you later! I'll only be a few hours!" Halluciv made his way past the door.
"Okay! I hope all goes well!" Reboot waved goodbye.
"Thanks!!" Halluciv waved back as he began to walk from his house.

Eraser saw Marvul stand up and come up to the door.
"You both can come in, Halluciv obviously didn't think of inviting you in." He rolled his eyes.
Eraser took Reboot's hand out of nervousness.
They went inside and Marvul closed the door behind them.

"Come in and sit."

Eraser wasn't sure at all whether Marvul wanted it immediately or later...

Reboot could almost feel Eraser's nervousness, it only made him more anxious.
"What've you two been up too?" Marvul asked as he sat down on a chair and looked at them.
Eraser brought Reboot over to the couch and sat down with him.
"Not much, I guess?" Reboot replied to Marvul.
Marvul thought for a moment.
"Hey, Reboot." He looked at him.
"Yeah?" Reboot asked nervously.
He held up a phone "Could you run this to my brother? It's his. He might want it. He's going to the park."
Reboot looked at Eraser then stood up. "Yeah, sure!"
He took the phone from Marvul and went to the door, he opened and closed it softly.
Marvul watched Reboot go...
After he turned to Eraser.
"Why do you look so nervous and guilty? You're making him nervous which could ruin everything."
"It's going to hurt him." Eraser snapped.
Marvul's eyes widened for a moment before he stood. "Pain is normal."
He went into the kitchen for a moment. Then came back with a wine bottle, then tossed it to Eraser. "This could help you feel better."
Eraser caught it then looked at Marvul.
He was hesitant.
"Dear god, You're so on edge, just drink it. It's not that strong, but it'll be enough." Marvul scoffed and sat back down.
