♡Kagekao X M!Reader♡

Y/N POV

"Hey Y/N, I heard someone likes you."
BEN tells me, leaning onto his side with the effort it takes to spam the buttons on his controller to beat the final boss.

"What do you mean?"
I ask him, doing the same thing.

Critical Hit!

"You know, me and a few of the guys were playing truth or dare, and one of them has a crush on you."
He says.

I laugh at that thought.

"Watcha laughing about?"
He pauses the game that we're playing and turns to face me.

"I mean, I thought I was the only one in the mansion who like guys- aside from the girls- and I don't know why someone would like me anyway!"
Telling him sounds weird- I don't think he knows I like guys.

"Do you have any crushes?"
He asks, tilting his head to the side slightly.

"I mean- yeah- but I'm not telling."
I say, chuckling.

"Come on, man! I'm your bro!"
He whines.

"Tell me first! Barely anyone is home!"
I compromise.

"Fine. Me, Jeff, Kagekao, Offender, Toby and L.J were playing Truth or Dare. Jeff asked Kagekao who his biggest crush was, and he said you!"
He explains.

My cheeks burn bright red, and I avert my eyes to take that in.
I thought BEN was joking around...

BEN makes a little squealing sound when he sees me blushing, and squeaks-
"I ship it!"

"Shut up- dude- please..."
I stutter slightly.

"You like him too~!"
He sings, and I push him over.

Crossing me arms and pouting, I mutter-
"No-" but I'm interrupted.

"Yes you do~!"
He sings again.

"Fuck you, man!"
I yell at him.

"No- fuck Kagekao!"
He yells back playfully.

I turn an even deeper shade of red, and he squeals again.

A certain someone with a black and white scarf and a glass of wine walks into the room.

"Did someone say my name?"
Kagekao jokes, settling on the sofa next to us.

BEN subtly winks at me, and I slump down further onto the sofa, covering my face with my hood.

"Are you okay, Y/N?"
He asks- concerned.

BEN gets off the sofa and walks over to Kagekao. He crouches down to Kage's ear and whispers something.

The expression on Kagekao's mask changes from content to embarrassed;
What the fuck did BEN say??

BEN snickers slightly, and smirks at me.

"I'll leave you two alone~"
He laughs, and walks upstairs to his room.

There's an awkward silence for a few seconds as we avoid eye contact and blush uncontrollably.

"S-so... um- BEN said you- um- liked me?"
Kagekao splutters.

"I- uh... yeah?"
I reply quickly.

"Oh! I- I thought he was lying..."
He mutters, turning around to look at me.

"Me too..."
I whisper.

He doesn't break the eye contact. Instead, he shuffles a bit closer to me on the sofa.

"So- what do you suppose we do about this?" He asks.
In all honestly, I really don't know.

I shrug, and relax a bit.

Leaning over, he rests his hand on mine.
"I've liked you for a while, Y/N. Ever since you moved here. I've wanted to tell you for a while." He explains.

"W-wow... I- uh- me too!"
I never expected this! What the hell is happening?!

"That's sweet. You're really cute."
His mask reverts back to his content face, and I get flushed all over again.

"I- uh-"
I can't seem to form words after his compliment.

He chuckles and says-
"Wow. I never took you for someone who's easily flustered!"

I slump up even more and cover my face.
Then I realise he's still holding my hand.

His mask changes to a grin.
Stupid fuckin... stupid fucking face...

I turn my head so that he doesn't notice my red face, but I don't make an effort to move my hand.

"Yeah- well- uh- you're handsome! How about t-that?! St-stupid..."
I yell at him, hoping it would fluster him in the same way.

He chuckles again.
"Really cute."

Since he's already holding my hand, he pulls me closer to him, and I land practically on top of him.

I'm basically having an internal panic attack.

He starts laughing properly as he pulls me further into him, so my bed is resting on his chest and he's now holding both of my hands.

Letting go of my hands, Kagekao wraps his arms around me.

My face burns when he whispers;
"I love you, Y/N."

I slide my fingertips slightly under his mask.
"I love you too, Kagekao."

I feel his face heat up as well.
