I wake up in my room. I feel a cool breeze coming from my open window.

It's a nice cool crisp school day. Luckily it is a Friday so I can relax after school without any homework.

My new teachers never give out homework on Fridays. Well at least not yet. I get up out of bed and look at the time. "It's 7:00 I'm gonna be late", I say to my self.

I run downstairs and eat breakfast. My mother made my favorite breakfast food, pancakes. Yum. I then hurry down the food and quickly go back to my room and quickly get dressed. I then brush my teeth and comb my hair. I think to myself "I should have taken a shower". I haven't taken a shower in 3 days because I've been waking up so late.

When I get to school it's totally abandoned. It's so silent I could hear a pin drop down the hall. Did we have school today, I don't think it's a holiday or teachers institute today. I walk up and down the halls. I walk into every classroom there is. Then I hear footsteps down the hall. I look and it's not someone I recognize. I walk closer to him and he turns around and stares at me. His ice cold stare is making me feel strange it's feels like I can't move, like I'm paralyzed. He then starts walking towards me so I start backing away.

I run into a classroom and l lock the door. I no longer hear footsteps but a faint weeping noise. It's coming from behind the teachers desk in the classroom. I look behind the desk and there sits a little girl about 11 years old weeping and muttering something strange. I can't quite make out what she's saying.

She then stops crying and asks me something, "are you the unwritten one". I tilt my head in confusion. My mother used to tell stories of the unwritten people. She used to say how they would protect the weak and the mortals. I always believed I would get to be one but it all changed. My mother stopped telling me stories about them.

The little girl starts to get up and I start to back away slowly. She slowly walks towards me and I start to hear what she's saying. "There's no turning back Lucy". How did she know my name and what did she mean by no turning back. She then runs towards me and I can see her teeth. They look sharp and pointy and her nails long and dangerous. She then jumps on top of me and scratches at my face and back. She then shouts theres no turning back. I push her off and run out of the classroom and sprint out of the school. The street is dead silent.

All I can think of is no turning back.
