It turned dark. I looked over on Zach's porch. All of his friends where there. Some of them I recognized from school, others, not so much. There was one guy that I didn't recognize. He was tall and had coffee. He pointed to me. "Zach, whos that?" He said. I blushed, turned, and skated away. Later that night, we where sitting on the hood of my car. I was waiting Zach to notice me. Morgan came outside with popcorn. "Hey boo" she said climbing on the car. "hey." I looked over at Zach. "He isn't gonna notice me." I said sliding off of the car. I ran my fingers along the side of it, and sighed. "no, he will" She said sighing. "its just... maybe going to take some time" I smiled, getting in the car. I opened the top of the car. Morgan came and sat in the passenger seat. "Why wont you just go up to him and talk?" She said shoveling a handful of popcorn in her mouth. I laughed. "I dont want to come off as a girl that throws herself on guys I guess". Morgan nodded. The meteor shower started. When it was over, we went inside. Morgan looked at the time. "SHIT!" She said. "Its one at night, and we have school tomorrow, and I was supposed to be home at ten." I laughed. "I gotta go. Bye Y/N" she said getting her skateboard and leaving without letting me say goodbye. The next day, I woke up. It was the last day of school. Aka, Graduation day. Im younger than everyone else in my grade. Whatever. I got up, and put on my graduation clothes. My mom walked into my room. "It's graduation day!!" she said looking cheerfully sad. "Are you ready?" I smiled. "Yeah mom, as ready as I will ever be." I finished getting ready and we drove to my graduation. As they called my name, I got butterflies. I finally finished school. I could now do whatever I wanted. Wow. I looked over to my mom. She was crying. They finished calling people's names, and giving speeches. We where at the reception. "We did it!" Morgan said. I laughed and turned around. *THUD* I bumped into Zach. "Y/N... hi" He said catching my fall. "You know my name?" I said surprised that he knew I even existed. "Of course I do" He said smiling. "Im having a party after this... wanna come? You can bring a friend" He said smiling. I blushed. "Yeah" He smiled, and walked away. I turned around. Morgan had the biggest smile on her face. "You did it!" I laughed. "We gotta go" She said grabbing my hand and pulling me into the parking lot.
