"SIS!!!!!! I've got a surprise for youuuuuuuuu" an excited voice echoes through the walls of the small but beautifully decorated home.
"Seriously Grace, you know how much I hate my birthday and birthday surprises is number two on that list!" rolling her eyes as she makes her way to Grace's living room, plopping her irritated self on the couch."
"Well MeiMei you'll love this surprise and it's a good thing you sat down, I don't want you slamming your head on the ground once you open the gift I got you." An enthusiastic smile plastered on her lips.
"Okay Gracie, you literally say that every year and every year it's the same thing you give me bonds to cash in on my 30th birthday.... boringggggg." Annoyance painted on her face
"Fine sour sally, give me the envelope and I'll just give these babies to my co workers than, so damn unappreciative sissy." Trying to snatch the envelope from her hands she falls onto the couch
"I never said I didn't want them, stop being such a baby, you're 25 Gracie not 20, I can be annoying and unappreciative. You however are old and about to be in your 30's, blehhhh." Putting a finger in her throat she feigns disgust
"You're so rude, but I love you nonetheless. So open them and I accept your apology now." Mischievousness laced on her eyes.
Opening the envelope MeiMei looks at Gracie. Unexplainable joy emerging from her, she moves over next to Grace. "OMGOMGOMG, you didn't, did you? Is this real life? What the hell Gracie, you got us tickets for the F4 concert tomorrow?! How in the hell... OMG!!!! The concert was sold out months ago!! What did you do?.." Elated she can't help but squeeze her in a tight grateful hug
"Sis, I... can't ... breathe..."
"Shit, sorry sis." Letting go she eagerly waits for a response to all her questions.
"Well as you can see I was able get two tickets but yours is in the middle of the third row. Mine however is on the 7th row, because that's the best I could do. I could have gotten us both on the 7th row but I wanted you to enjoy them in a closer view to you. I hope that's okay?" Scrunching her her forehead she waits for her response
"Gracie, there are no words! You're the best big sister in the entire world, I freaking love you!!! Thank you!"
"Oh also check the rest of the envelope sis there's one more thing."
"A bond certificate for $1500.00 well it wouldn't be you or my birthday without that bit." Boisterous laughter filling the entire home. ____________________________________________________________
"MeiMei what are you going to wear? Are you leaving your hair up or down? I mean we can't have you looking like a Hobo, if you'll be seeing Mr. Caesar Wu now can we? Teasingly pulling on her hair.
"Shut up, I'll be on the third row so I doubt he'll pick my face out of the whole damn arena Gracie, stop being so dramatic and dreamy geez. Sometimes I feel like I'm the older one." Playfully acting annoyed, slapping her hands away from her hair.
"Whatever Mei, you can be such a grandma sometimes." Energetic eyes and playful laughter consuming the atmosphere. "Since you always take forever to make up your mind I'll just tell you what I'm wearing. I'm wearing high wasted light blue jeans, with my Led Zeppelin Tee tucked in a bit, fishnet socks with my maroon biker boots, I'm leaving my hair down with beach like waves just the front part of it though." Satisfied smile plastered on her face.

I'm wearing my fave black leather jacket with my white La Lune Tee, my favorite silver rings, light wash jean shorts, black tights, my black combat Dr. Martens you got me a couple months ago, and a red plaid shirt tied around my waist, and I'm wearing my hair down too. Happy now?! Can we just finish getting ready before the concert, you promised me we'd stop by to get my fave wine to drink after the concert in our pjs, they'll be closed by the time the concert ends tonight."

This will be a short story but I hope you guys enjoy reading and going along this ride with me! I've been meaning to post a couple chapter but been holding off bc real life happened and I've been dealing with some personal stuff.
Anywho this song gives me Grace vibes, I feel like she's the one that encourages MeiMei to make bad choices but for a good cause always. Anyways Gracie can be such a badass and you'll learn more about her soon.
