chapter 1: It all started With a collision

It was finally my first sophomore year at school. Being a freshman sucked, especially because I broke up with with my boyfriend Shawn because of how my body looked.
It was time for new beginnings, new boys to like, same friends of course as if I would give them up, new body, new goalllssss!!

"OMG!! Girls!! I missed you so much," I exclaimed.
The holidays were so long I hadnt seen them since the previous year so just being back together was great.
"You're so...." said Thalia as she eyed me from head to toe making me feel so violated.
"I know, I worked out from the week we closed and I still am, I'm tired of being an ugly pig.....it's time for change, I really need it" I sighed as all my friends Penelope,Thalia,Robyn and Alexis looked at me with faces of surprise.
"You need to teach me your secrets babe I wanna look like you I mean look at your curves, you are sexy" screamed Alexis. "Don't mind me you guys it's nothing," I told them.

As we were chatting like the good old times, at the corner of my eye I spotted a guy walking towards us. He was tall, sexy thick lips, small eyes that looked like they pierced into your soul, he had a scar that just finished it off and even though braces make you look like a nerd, they made him look so sexy. He was thin but buff you could see his 6 pack through the school jersey. He was sexy. He was coming towards us and I freaked out a bit.
I didn't notice I was actually walking towards him when I just suddenly collided into someone

"Ouch, what the hell!!" I screamed
"Oh I'm so sorry Im new here," and I looked up at him and paused for a second
"Hi," he said. His voice wasn't deep but it wasn't high as well it was low key, chilled,sexy.
He looked at me and analysed me from head to toe afterwards I saw a smirk on his big sexy lips

"Hi, im Khalil,"  I swear i was drooling I couldn't even speak. He was talking to me exactly not even Penelope and she was considered the hot one of our group
"H-h-hi, are you in ninth grade?" I asked him
"Yea I was wondering if you could help me out Im looking for the Arabs class, are you an Arab? Cause if you are then uh.... im real lucky,"
I was screaming inside but I acted cool on the outside
"Ha ha unfortunately for you Im a Roman but I can direct you, can I see your form?"

"Oh right yea here,"
As I was about to take the paper he purposely touched my hand and I hesitated and looked at him. He was glaring deeply into my hazel brown eyes  and I felt a bit awkward but pleased in a way.
As he was staring at me I also stared at his features, his jawline that was shaped for the gods and his flawless skin. You could even see his facial hair that started to bloom right under his top thick lip.
We were staring at each other for almost about 20 seconds or so then Alexis faked a cough just to bring us back into our senses

"So..... we're gonna go, S we'll see you in the hall," said Robyn "bye Khalil," they all said in unison. He didn't reply as he was still engulfed in my eyes.

"Oh ok I'll see you, save me a seat," I shouted as my crew was walking down to the hall form the first assembly of the year.
"Uhm Khalil is it? Can I show you to an Arab they can help you out,there's Samuel right there " I said as he smiled back. "Sure," he said "I'll see you later cutie,sorry for bumping into you" he seductively said as he winked back at me.

What had just happened did a cute guy just talk to me and call me cute?
I was thinking about it as I went down and when I got to the hall the girls stared at me

"Ouuuu looks like the new you is working girl!!" Screamed Robyn
" You can finally get over Shawn, he's no good for you," said Thalia

He was my long time crush since middle school all into high school and was my boyfriend during freshman year. But we broke up when he cheated on me with a Junior. I still liked him a lot and even though I was mad at him I just couldn't get over him and he took advantage of me but I just couldn't get over him

"Dude I'm so over Shawn, did you just see the hunka hunka hotness I just talked to?!" I argued with her
"I hope so Sky, I'm so tired of coming over to yours with Ben and Jerry's and Twilight just to help you get over him, which never helps btw," she sighed annoyed at me
I" promise guys I'm done with Shawn, I promise" I promised my friends.

Soon after we got into the hall and that marked the beginning of our sophomore year.
