day 2

I woke up in a hospital bed 2 hours later with an IV hooked up to me. I looked over to my right to see Jackson and my mom sitting there. "Hey!" he smiled. "I'll let you 2 talk." my mom left. "you could have told me..." he said. "I know....I'm sorry it's just that it's bad enough the whole school knows I didn't want you to think I was weird." I sighed. "I don't..." he said. "ok well when did the doctor say I can leave?" I asked. "he said whenever you wake up you can leave....I'll go get a nurse." he said. "OK thanks." A nurse came in a did some stuff and then we left. "I'll see you tomorrow at school." Jackson said. "OK thank you.." "for what?" "not thinking I'm weird like everyone else does." "oh no problem bye."

When we got home I watched Netflix and slept for the rest of the day. 

My alarm went off meaning it was time to get ready for school. I got up and changed into a cute Atlanta braves jersey with some jeans and my pink vans. Then I did my hair and make up. As I put my stuff into my locker Jackson came over to me. "how are you feeling?" he asked. "good I just wish I didn't have to come here....everyone found out about me passing out yesterday." I sighed. "don't worry about them. After school can I take you out for ice cream?" Jackson asked. "It's cold though." "coffee?" "sounds great." I smiled as we walked to class.

I got into Jacksons car and we went to a coffee shop. "hey I have a football game tonight. wanna come?" he asked. "yeah of course."

over coffee Jackson and I got to know each other. He's actually supper nice and funny. During half time he ran over to me. "look Maddie I may be moving a little to fast but we only have 3 months and I wanna make the most of it...so will you be my girlfriend?" "I- um..yeah of course." I smiled. He hugged me and spun me around. "can I take you out tonight after the game?" he asked. "yeah sure." During the game I started to feel light headed I went to the bathrooms and sat down against the wall. Then everything went black.

I woke up an hour later and the game was over. My phone had a bunch of texts from Jackson.

J- hey u ready?

J-maddie?

J-hello r u ok

J-maddie I'm worried.

All of a sudden someone came into the bathroom. It was Jackson. "Maddie? what happened? are you OK?" "um yeah I just passed out but I'm fine." "we should go to the hospital." "what about out date?" "maddie we should really go to the hospital." "but-" "I'll make you a deal. lets go to the hospital just to make sure everything is OK. and I'll take you out to dinner tomorrow." Jackson said. "fine." I sighed. I stood up but I felt really weak. "you OK?" Jackson asked. "yeah." I lied. we walked to his car and got in. When we got to the hospital the nurses got me a room. They ran some tests and an hour later the doctor came in. "Look I know you don't wanna hear this but your gonna have to stay here for a few days so I can make sure everything is OK." he said. "But that's such a waist of my 3 months." I said. "I know I'm sorry." The doctor waked out. "hey while your here we can still have fun." Jackson said as he walked over and sat next to me. "I guess." "I'm gonna run out and grab food and we can have our date here. what do you want to eat?" he asked. "Panera." I said. "OK get some rest I'll be back in a little while." he said. "OK be safe." I sighed.
