Chases pov~
The hospital lights were bright... very bright. The rays of light bounced of Sadie's pale, ghost like face. The IV next to her beeping...and beeping... and beeping, she's not woke up for 3 days! It's my fault...
The stitches on her right cheek cover 35% of her face, somehow she still looked absolutely perfect... She texted me and I didn't get there fast enough, if only I did she wouldn't be here right now... she'd be awake and happy not un life like laid in a hospital bed. Since she was admitted into the hospital I haven't left her side, I can't leave her it's just too hard...
All the guys including Loren and Hannah had came for the second day and sat with me, they brought balloons, flowers, cards and chocolates. It was that day that I found out she might not wake up... she hit 4 major nerves in her head and if she doesn't wake up within a week they said we'll have to let her go for the best... I refuse to give up on her... I refuse to let the love of my life go like that...
**skip to day 6 at the hospital**
I haven't slept in 6 days, I haven't gone home and I've barely ate. The only food I've had his a protein bar from the vending machine but even then I hated leaving her room because what if she woke up and no one was there for her... what if she dosen't remember anything?
I pulled my chair to the side of her bed and held her hand, I stayed like this for hours. I refused to let her go. "Excuse me... sir?" A nurse said peeping through the door "yes?" I turned around flinching at the sound of her voice. She pulled a chair over to me and looked up at me nervously "I hate saying this but there has been no brain activity in the past 6-7 days, this is a abnormal amount of time for a Brian to survive without a working supply of natural oxygen. Currently the defibrillators are breathing for her, Her mother will also be returning at the end of today for the same talk I'm having with you but if nothing has changed by tommorow morning... you will have to say goodbye... I couldn't be more sorry" After she said this she handed me a bottle of water and slipped out he door closing it behind her. The words she spoke broke me, I felt like my heart was being ripped out and tore apart. I was angry more than anything, angry at myself for not getting to her house in time... I could of stopped this... all of this!
I slowly stood up kissing the peak of her forehead, I then grabbed her hand in my two and layed my head on the bed...
"Come on Sadie pull through please, for yourself, your future, your mom and... me. I would never forgive myself if you don't wake up... I love you, I love you so much that my heart without you is black... I'm not me without you. I miss you more than anything, I miss your smile, I miss our conversations and I miss everything about you. Please just give me a sign your awake... please... I can't loose you..." I say whispering to her, a tear slipping from my eye. It was in this instance when I felt her hand faintly squeeze mine, my future with her opened back up again...
