Patricia's Point of View

right when I walked in, I bumped into a man...

Oh shit, it's such a perfect life.. I just arrived, and made mistake, I could die in a blink of eye right now. I couldn't even look at this man face, ufufuffuuuu.. ouh just stop it anxiety, I have to say somethingggg!

"Uhm I-I'm sorry s-sir" I mumble, my eyes still on the ground, I don't even have the gut to move my head,

"Who's she lexy?" The man asked Alexa,

"She's my bestfriend, she's in the same college with me, but she have to quit in the half semester because of financial issues and now I'm taking her here to work at our house as a maid anddd my personal assistant, and please don't call me lexy! It's embarassing" Alexa replied the man,

"Why don't you talk to me first about bringing her in this house? You can't just easily trust people?" Another question from the man, I'm panicking here..

Alexa rolled her eyes and reply "Well trust me Vincy, she is under my control of course, not a spy or suuumthin, come on Patrice, you should introduce yourself to my big baboon bro here!"

Okay keep calm Patrice, You can do this.. "Hello, my name is Patricia Brooklyn" I said as I offering my hand

"I'm Vincent, you've known my last name so I guess it's no use of telling you anymore" Vincent replied and shake my hand,

I finally look up and saw his beautiful face, sharp jawline, that pointed nose, muscular body leaving me a small gasp, well I can tell there's lot women must be chasing after him.

I gave him a smile and he just gave a straight face look, "I guess you must know that by living here you must keep your mouth shut right Patricia? Just don't break the Omerta and everything fine, well that's all I need to say, see you around later" He said and leave into his car.

Well, okay then, it's not as bad as it seems.

Then Alexa led me to my room upstairs and its across her room, It's freaking huge.. definetly not a room for a freaking maid!

"Alexa what is this? I'm going to be one of your maids, not a freaking princess" I said, in complaining tone ofc.

"You're still my bestfriend and I'm not gonna let you live at the maid dwellings, besides there's lot of bad guy will be out there and flirting with the maids" Alexa replied in a very calm voice

I gulped and well I got no choice, I'll take this room..

This is completely too much for a new maid like me but I'm not gonna let myself get laid by a complete stranger anyway, my virginity is that precious, yes.

Alexa tell me that we're going to have dinner at 6.30, and she'll introduce me to her parents, then she leave me to unpack my bag.

I started to unpack my bag, and immediatly took a shower. After I had finished, I took a nap, time passed by and I look at the clock, whoops it's 6.18 I gotta get ready for the dinner.

I change my clothes into a long sleeve navy blue candy wrapper dress, something that a maid never use anyway but I wanna make a good first impression in front of Alexa's family.

I use my baby cologne, then I hear a knock in my door, I open and found Lexa in the front door,

"You look stunning, come go downstairs, my family are already waiting" Lexa said and she led me downstairs.

I saw four people in the table, Vincent is also there. I suppose that's Lexa's father and mother, they both scanning at me.

"Hi pops, hi mama" Lexa said and kiss her father in a cheek, and also kiss her mother. Lexa take a seat next to her father, and she signal her hand for me to take a seat next to Vincent. Oh no.

I took a seat, Lexa's father start a conversation "I suppose you're my daughter best friend? What's your name darling?"

"My name is Patricia Brooklyn, M-Mr. Genovesse" I replied him politely,

"Such a beautiful name, My name is Victor, and this is my wife Alessandra, and next to you is Vincent, Lexa's brother"

"It's very nice to meet you all" I said and start panicking, what if they don't accept me?

"Oh darling it's nice too meet you too, how old are you?" Lexa's mother asked me

"I'm nineteen ma'am"

"Why did you live all alone here in New York such a big world for a little girl I suppose?"

Oh no, now I had to remember all those terrible things.

"I wasn't actually born in New York ma'am, I moved here for the college but then my father just leave me with his new wife and I had to find my own money"

"And your mama?"

"She had passed away since I'm eleven years old" I felt like I'm about to cry, but good thing the food finally arrived and conversation stop there.

I pray before I ate and they all look at me with surprise face,

"Is there anything wrong?" I asked

"It's just weird you pray before you eat" Victor replied and give me warmth smile

I giggled and answer "My mama told me to have a little faith"

They all laugh and continue their food. When we all finished I decided to do the dishes since I'm a new maid here, and they all leave to their own room.

I put on hand glove anf start to clean up all this mess and sing..

"There's glass in the park
Darling, I can't help but keep making appointments
To sweep beneath the climbing frame
