Namjoon just got out of jail. Walking out of the complex, he spotted a transportation car that wasn't his. He peeked his head and looked at the driver to see if he was one of those car driving services.

"Are you Park Jungwoo? To downtown?" the driver asked. "Mildly convenient," Namjoon thought.

"Ah yes!" Namjoon said as he got in the car. He looked at the driver's destination on his car GPS and said, "Actually, when we get to downtown, just drop me off at the nearest hotel. Wherever I needed to go to just got cancelled." The car zoomed off as soon as Namjoon closed the door, probably due to the driver needing to get as many customers as he could for the day. He fell to the seat because he didn't have enough time to put on his seatbelt.

"Whoops, sorry," the driver said, looking back at a glance to make sure he was okay.

"It's fine," Namjoon quickly recovered and latched the seatbelt across his chest

"Yeah, just need to get my orders done for the day. I'm backed up on a few requests so I need to drop you off quickly."

--

"Thanks again." Namjoon said, as he quickly got out of the car. The car then went off and disappeared into the streets. Noticing that there were local boutique shops nearby the hotel, he decided to pinch a few things from there first.

He heard a commotion from the beauty shop, so he decided to check that out first. Approaching the shop, he noticed why there was a commotion in the first place. The shop had a big buy one get one 50% on all items sale.

Walking and brushing past the people trying to get their cosmetics, he took a few items as he was walking: 2 colognes, a rosy blush, and a few lipsticks. Perusing through the aisles were calming for Namjoon, even though there were screaming ladies left and right. Right as Namjoon was about to enter the line for purchasing, he turned a sharp corner to go to the return aisle.

Approaching the worker in the sectioned off corner of the store, he acted as if he was in a rush.

"Hi. I just wanted to return these. Turned out my girlfriend wanted them in a different color."

"That sucks," the worker laughed, "It's no problem sir. All I need is the card that you purchased them with—"

"—It's fine. I didn't even open them. See, even the labels are still here." Namjoon pointed towards the unopened blush and the cologne that didn't have it's cap seal ripped off yet.

"Sir, I need your card if you want to return any item—"

"—This is ridiculous. I didn't open any of these things," Namjoon interjected. His voice was loud enough to catch a few heads turning towards him. He put his hand on the glass counter and waited for her to respond.

The worker looked completely confused. Her tone got more sassy as she said, "You can go to customer services if you want—"

"—You know what, I'll just keep them," Namjoon scoffed as he looked away. Gathering the items he started to walk away but turned back and asked, "Can I at least get a bag?"

"Sure thing. Here you go."

"Jesus, can't get any proper service here," Namjoon said under his breath. The worker made a disgusted face as she gave him the oversized bag. He turned and walked towards the exit, taking whatever he had in the bag for free.

After taking a few things from the other local clothing shops, he entered the hotel lobby and headed towards the elevator. Noticing the hotel worker with his key card that was hanging by his pocket, he changed his mind and walked directly towards him.

He harshly bumped into him, eliciting an irritated reaction out of the hotel worker. Namjoon made sure to gather eye contact quickly. He looked at him intently and as soon as their eyes met, his hand swiftly snatched the key card that hung outside his pocket.

"Yo! What's your problem?"

"Sorry, I wasn't looking." Namjoon smiled and turned, heading for the elevator again.

--

He got the key card and quickly checked out some rooms. Either by hearing that there were voices inside or there were stuff already settled in. To his disappointment, most were checked out until he found an unchecked room in the corner of the 3rd floor. He just needed for the afternoon, so he hung a cleaning sign in front of the door and propped up a cart near the room.

He entered and locked the room. He set aside the stuff he took next to the nightstand. Happy that he could get some rest, he fell flat onto the bed and spread out his arms out to stretch. Letting out a huge yawn, he got out his phone and dialed a number.

It shortly rang for a moment until someone responded from the other end.

"Hello?" the other voice said.

"Hey babe, I'm back."
