KALANI POV I woke up to my alarm going off and rubbed my eyes, dragged myself out of bed and went into my bathroom, after a 15 minute shower I brushed my teeth and finished my hygiene things. I walked out and went into my room to decide what I was going to where for my first day of 11th grade. Looking at my phone I realised it was 8:15 meaning I only had 15 minutes get to school so I texted my bestie Malika to come and get me
Me: hey bestie can u come get me
Bestie😩💕: no problem I'll be there in 5 x

On cue 5 minutes later I heard her car beep and went downstairs,5 my mum was not at home as usual so I just walked out the door.

Kalani didn't like how her best friend mouth was, always be hoe and she knew people talked about it but she still loved her. Kalani didn't really have any other friends apart from Malika and she never really went out she just stayed to herself and did school, and was why people thought she was lame but she didn't care.
We walked into the office to see a middle- aged women sitting at the desk. "Hello, what's your name?" She asked kindly. "Kalani Raines" I told her, she started typing and then printed out my schedule and handed it to me "Thanks" I said and walked out the after Malika got hers. We walked out into the hallway and it was packed with kids going to their lessons. I checked my schedule and saw that I had Physics first, me and Malika only had lunch and fourth period together so I was kind of upset about that but oh well.
