Yoongi POV
"Tae don't put those crayons in your mouth please~" I manage to say without sounding like a dick this time. Last time I tried to stop them from putting things in their mouths I sort of...well...let's just say saying something will taste like shit shouldn't be said around young ears as it seems. Who knew?
He doesn't speak but I get a small grunt of understanding and I take it. We are currently waiting for my appointment of the day to come. My big office is enough to have the meeting in while I watch the boys. I know I trust Jaebum but I rather keep them in my sight at all times for now. I made sure to get them a play mat with a small table and chairs. They can play with toys and do arts while I work. Whoever this guy I'm meeting next will have to just deal with the company. Not like I give a shit anyway.
"Knock Knock, Boss." I turn my attention to the door and scoff.
"Jaebum, you have to actually knock on the door. Not say "knock knock" then come inside." I shake my head at his childishness.
"Noted! However, just wanted to let you know your appointment has arrived." He steps aside and let's a tall slim looking man into the office. He wears a tight navy suit with a white shirt underneath the jacket with a couple piercings adorned each ear. Hm, pretty young for a CEO...hmpf and I'm one to talk. Shrugging on my thoughts I stand from my desk to greet the man.
"Mr. Min, pleasure to be meeting with you today, Sir." He shakes my hand and I give a firm nod.
"Likewise, Mr..." my voice trails off as I notice the small bunch that stroll in behind him. And I honestly can't believe my eyes. Forgetting he did mention that him and his boss would come to meet me but I didn't expect so soon.
"Uhm, it's Kai, Sir...I don't prefer to go by real name these days if that's alright?" This Kai interrupts my thoughts.
I turn my attention back to the cute bunny who is fixing the kids bag. "Who might these adorable babes be?" I say with a small smirk finally making eye contact with the bunny.
"Oh, them...*cough* its unfortunate that my assistant here had to be unprofessional and bring his children to work. However I needed him to take notes for the briefing later and had no choice but to bring them along as well." Kai speaks and I'm honestly already irritated at his tone and ignorance but I keep my composure. "I hope this won't be any inconvenience Mr. Min."
I mentally curse this bastard in my head and just give a tight smile.
"On the contrary Kai." I turn my gaze to my two boys still playing in their area and turn back to give him a small glare. "My boys are here as well so I see no unprofessionalism if he has his reasons."
Kai takes a moment to look between all of us and then clears his throat while giving a bow. "Forgive my rudeness. Jungkook introduce yourself, now." He snaps and my eye almost twitches.
"O-oh..." he let's go of the smallest ones hand and stands in front of me. "H-hello..*bows* I am Jeon Jungkook, assistant to Mr. Kim...I-I-I mean Kai, Sir!" He is more nervous then when we recently met...maybe it's just the business setting.
"A fine pleasure to meet you Jungkook-ssi." I say with a low voice as I take his hand and kiss it. Satisfied with the small gasp I return his hand and smile at the youngsters behind him.
"And who might you fine boys be, hm?" I ask with a more higher and playful tone.
"M-me Joonie! He little brother! Minnie!" The oldest points to himself then to his little brother.
"Well, nice to meet you boys! Oh, would you like to play with some other boys like you?" I ask with hope.
They both nod thankfully and before I introduce them to Hobi and Tae I ask Jungkook if it's alright.
"Oh, they are social bugs lately so it's okay. Just play nice and share, yes?" Jungkook reminds the boys and they nod in response.
"Go ahead and get them set up at the table Jaebum while I set these guys up, thanks." I asked noticing he was getting bored standing in the doorway. He should be doing security but he said he over staffed today so he can slack if needed. Tsk tsk.
Leading Jungkook two boys over to my two boys I noticed they stopped coloring and are just playing with random toys. I'm not going to even ask why Tae is slamming the head of a dinosaur into a book that shows a ocean. Maybe he thinks it will drown for eating people?
"Boys, look who I have here to play with you." I announce and they turn their attention to me.
Hobi is the first to make a move slowly standing up and standing in front of the oldest. For a couple minutes it's like they are both deciphering each other. Looking up and down and tilting heads here and there. Soon they start touching each other cheeks and start to giggle.
"Pway?" Hobi ask with his sunshine smile and Joonie gives a cute dimple smile and nods. They both are on the play mat babbling about their toys.
"TaeTae? Want to play with Minnie here?" I ask and he looks to me then back to Jimin and stands.
They are only a few steps away but funny thing is they both move towards each other to meet in the middle. Awkwardly, at least for me, they just stare. No speaking. Not like I expected Tae to speak but it's almost as if they are communicating in their minds.
"O-okay. Play nice and remember to share. If you need anything me and their daddy will be at the big table."
After getting them situated I turn my attention to the meeting table on the left side of the room. Walking back I decide to go slowly because it looks as if Jungkook and Kai are having a little argument. I can see the uncomfortable tension in Jungkook and the clear anger in Kai. Noticing Jaebum has left I wonder what it could be about. He looks like he is about to touch Jungkook but before he gets a chance and before I can stop myself I speak up.
"Let's get this meeting started then, shall we?"
