Wait a Minute! (1/?)

So, maybe about 3 years ago, Shinso would curl up in a ball, but rest his head in my lap. Almost as if he was a cat. So I started calling  him 'Baby Kitten'. Over the years it shortened to just Baby. SO WHAT I WOULD CALL HIM BABY IN PUBLIC, AND EVERYONE THOUGHT WE WERE DATING. Someone I knew asked, "Are you guys dating..?" And I spit my chocolate milk out everywhere. But it's so funny when people that just meet me see Baby in my contacts, and they think I'm dating someone. BUt no, it's just Shinso.

"Dryppe, ya with me?" Baby waved his hand in front of my eyes. I blinked a few times, being pulled from my trance. "Wh- whu..." "Where were ya there for a second?" He joked, putting his arm around my shoulder. "I left my consciousness in the 6th dimension." I sighed, resting my head on his shoulder. "You were thinking about someone, weren't you?" He asked. I was a bit taken back. I starred at him in confusion. "C'mon Dryppe, we've known each other for about 10 years now. I know you only do that when your thinking about someone you like. So who's the lucky kid?" I blushed at his statement. I was pretty much thinking about him, just not in the way he thinks. I lay down and rest my head in his lap, looking up at him. "It's not like that, Baby. I'm not crushing on anyone currently." Hold on, wait a minute. I feel my heart's intentions.

~Time skip~

"Kami, I left my consciousness in the 6th dimension, left my soul in his vision. I literally have no idea what's happening to me.." 

"Have you ever thought that you, well I don't know... That you might like him?"

"What?!"

"Dryppe, I'm sorry if I'm wrong, but your happier around him? You call him Baby, you both act like your dating, and you blush all the time when your around him."

"That doesn't mean I like him!"

"Whatever, just think about it. I'm going to bed.. Night."

"Night Kami."

I hung up, throwing my phone on the ground. Why would I like him? There's no way I could like him, he's my best friend. But he does make me feel special. And I feel like I'm missing a part of me when he's gone. My heart does flutter when he says my name. And he is kinda hot...

Shit, I do like him.

Ding

My phone went off, I got up off my bed to go retrieve it. Shinso messaged me!

Baby: Look outside.

I did as told, looking outside my window with a bored expression. I immediately notice Shinso with a McDonalds bag.

Scratch that, I love him.

I pull him into the room through the window, giving him a hug once he was fully in. "I got you chicken nuggets and fries. I was thinking maybe we could do something stupid?" He said, hugging me back.

"We could have a sleep over!"
