"Calm down. What's happened?" my best friend's voice was frantic and the background noise was almost too much to hear her through. It was late at night and I was already in for the night.

"This guy won't leave me alone. He keeps trying to get me to leave with him, but I don't want to." I sat up and set my glass of wine down on the table.

"Where are you?" I asked.

"I'm at the uni."

"What are you doing there?"

"There's some bands playing tonight."

"Are you there alone?" I asked and she didn't answer. I didn't know if it was because she didn't hear me or because something had distracted her. "Emily, you alright?" I asked again and she still didn't answer. I stood up from the couch and started pacing around the room.

"Can- can you come get me?" she asked suddenly.

"'Course. What's the address?"

"It's- hold on." and suddenly the line went dead. I cursed and ran to my bedroom to change out of my pajamas. I slid my coat on, grabbed my keys and jumped in the car. Traffic was so bad that I should have taken the bus. I didn't understand what could be causing so much traffic this late at night. I knew it was going to take me forever to find her. I had to shove through person after person just to get to the doors. The music that was playing could be heard from the outside. This was definitely not going to be a pleasant experience for me. I searched for Emily's platinum blonde hair but it was so dark in the building, the only thing I could see was the lights from the stage. I stared at the stage and saw a bright sign that said Smile. That must be the name of the band playing. I liked the music but could barely concentrate on that seeing as I had bigger worries at the moment.

"Alright?" someone asked. I turned around and it was a big guy who had asked. I shuttered and turned away again. I wasn't about to ask for his help or I'd end up in the same situation as Emily. I let out a heavy sigh and started pushing through more people. Finally I saw blonde hair peaking through the crowd of nearly a hundred men.

"Emily." I grabbed my shoulder and slid through the last couple of bodies to get to her. The girl spun around with surprise.

"You alright?" she asked. That definitely wasn't Emily.

"I am so sorry." I gasped, looking at her with wide eyes. I'd practically harassed this girl who I thought was my friend. "I- I thought you were someone else. Sorry."

"Can I help you find someone?" she asked, smiling. Thank God this was her reaction.

"Well..." I trailed off, looking around for her one last time before I asked for help. "I was at home when my friend called saying that there was some guy harassing her. She said that she was here but Ive been looking for her for ages now and I haven't found a single girl with blonde hair here besides you."

"What's her name?" the girl in front of me asked.

"Her name is Emily and as you could probably guess she looks a lot like you. I'm Amelia. Sorry again."

"Mary. Pleasure." the girl said, holding her hand out to shake. "Come off it. Stop saying sorry." she smiled. "Let me try something to find your friend. I'll be right back, Amelia. Stay here." Mary  disappeared into the crowd in front of us. The band was taking a break and Mary walked up to the stage, under where the lead singer was and waved her arms around to get his attention. He leaned over and kissed her on the cheek as she talked in his ear. I figured that she must know him. The man stood up and put his hand over his eyes, trying to find Emily, I assume. He pointed and Mary nodded. I followed where his finger was pointing to find Emily being pushed into a corner by a man that was probably twice her size.
