AN: The moment you've all been waiting for is here. Prepare yourselves for some rage.

-------------------

I walked into the recording studio totally unannounced. I didn't even know that I was going to come here until I was already inside. Emily was on the couch when I got there. She stood up when I walked through the door. "Are you going to talk to him?" she asked, eagerly. Emily had been pestering me from the beginning that I should at least listen to what Roger had to say, which was rare for her. But, she's been full of surprises ever since she met John. Back in her hay day, she'd tell me that I should just forget about Roger because there are plenty of fish in the sea and each was better than the last. I suppose I should be glad that she wasn't saying something like that now though.

"I think so." I said as if it were a question. That's why I came here, at least. I was just scared. Freddie came out of the booth, drinking a cup of tea and his eyes widened when he saw me.

"Amelia, darling! It is so good to see you again. I feel like we haven't seen each other face to face in forever." his voice was as dramatic as ever and I loved it. It felt like I was home again after being away for a long, long time. But then his voice got serious. "How are you doing, love?" And I knew that it wasn't casual, everyday conversation. I could tell that he genuinely wanted to know about my condition.

"I've been doing better." I smiled lightly. "Thanks for asking." I said, hugging him. He seemed surprised but returned the hug even tighter. "Do y'know where I could find Roger?" I asked. He looked surprised at my question.

"He's still in the booth, moping about. Are you sure that you're ready to talk to him, darling?"

"Yeah it's ok, Fred. It's time."

"I'm glad to hear it. Just know that we're all right here if you should need us." he said and Emily agreed from being him. "And I will tell you, blondie's been absolutely frightful to work with ever since he's been without you. His temper is through the roof. So I hope that things work out between you, but there's no pressure. You have to do what is right for you."

"I hope things work out too. Thank you." I said, hugging him again. I was so lucky to have such good friends to support me. "I think I'll pop in to say hello to Bri first." I pushed the door to the booth open and saw Brian unplugging a cord from an amplifier. John was putting his bass away and I could barely see Roger's blonde hair in the far corner of the room. I let out a deep breath when I realized that I wasn't going to have to talk to him right away. I had time to figure things out.

"H-hey! It's good to see you again! It's been a while." John said, holding his arms out immediately to hug me. "Good to see you too, Deaky." I smiled when his arms tightened around me.

"I'm so sorry about everything that happened."

"Oh, you don't need to apologize. It's not your fault, mate."

"Yeah, well I could have at least kept in contact with you. I just wasn't sure if that's what you wanted, y'know. Emily mentioned that you felt pretty alone."

"Really, it's ok. Don't worry about it." I smiled, patting him on the shoulder. "I am glad to be back though."

"There she is!" Brian called, throwing his arms around me in a hug. Over his shoulder, I could see that Roger finally noticed and I wanted to hide my face in Brian's shoulder forever. Maybe this was a mistake. "What a pleasure it is to have you back here, huh? Been a while."

"I thought I'd finally gotten rid of wasting my time at this blasted recording studio." I laughed, even though it felt like there was a boulder sitting in my stomach.
