From outside the city lines of the small southeastern Idaho town...there was an ancient temple, invisble to the untrained eye, or to the mortals at the least. This is where they trained, lived, and kept together as a family...the witches...the benders of natural magic that flowed through the city like a rolling river...

Magic was never a true thing in this world...it was brought here by the all powerful Merlin. The sorcerer who could do anything he wished. The controller of night. Along with him, he brought three of his personal artifacts, a ring, made from the finest enchanted silver, a book, leather bound containimg every spell known to magic and unkown as well. And a wand...harnessed with the power of the moon...it was easily the most powerful object in existence.

A closed her book as she laid in her bed while Emra tended to her wounds. Emra was a short, stout woman who treated A like her own daughter, "I swear, if you keep going after Azethenia like this...she'll end up killing you A..."she spoke solemnly. "I don't care if i die, Emra, as long as I take her with me."

Emra flicked a wound, "Ouch, what the hell!?" A exclaimed, Emra looked at her with that dangerous look in her eyes, "I will not stand here and let you get killed by that...that...that monster A...she's pure evil." Emra said coldly.

"And what does Valor have to say about this?" A asked quietly. Emra stopped and took a deep breath and sighed, "He's your uncle A...he cares for you..."she said.

A crossed her arms "he sure has a great way of showing it." She said coldly.

Valor was indeed her uncle...who took her father's place as chief council member when he sadly passed on. He was a stern man, with an expression that left everyone with an uneasy dispostition of him. He was easily thw most powerful witch of their time, next to Azethenia.

"In time, you will see he cares A..." Emra said, finishing bandaging her leg, "That should do it...no more hurting this leg, or i will chop it off" emra said. "No promises." A joked with a smile. She threw her legs off the bed and limpes to the council chambers...feeling uneasy.

night time was always uneasy for A...she could feel her; Azethenia, but could never see her...but there was another beside her...it wasn't Demetrius this time...he was much more darker than Azethenia, and far more powerful...the only thing she could make out of that experience...was the letter S...
