Chapter 1: How I became a trainee

When i got back home, my parents litteraly jumped on me, hugging me tight and congratulating me.

- Honey! my mom said. I hope you're not even reconsidering this offer. Of course you're becoming a trainee, right?

I nodded, smiling.

- We know it won't be easy for you, my dad told me, patting my back. But I hope you'll make your way in the music industry, and show your talent to the entire Korea, and maybe to the entire world!

I smiled harder.

- Yah! Appa! I'm not even a trainee yet, stop talking about being known worldwide!

They pushed me to the stairs.

- Aigoo! Stop complaining, my mom said chuckling, and go finish your suitcase. You're leaving tommorow, remember?

Oh. I maybe forgot how fast I had to leave my home.

- How could I forget? I said with a forced smile.

I ran the stairs and stormed in my room.

- Riiiiight... How could I forget!

I bent down in my knees and hit my head.

- Why am I so stupid? I whined.

Saying goodbye to my family was harder than I thought it would have been, so hard that i don't even want to think about it again.

I entered JYP Entertainment.

Yeah, let's focus on everything here, starting now. Thinking about my family and friends won't make me feel better.

I let out a sigh.

- Miss?

Confused, I tried finding who just called me.

- Are you Park Hyun Ae? she asked, approaching me.

I smiled.

- Yes, I am.

Her face litted up.

- I'm glad you came! I was afraid you'd be late or would come tommorow.

- Why would I?

- Well, many trainees did arrived late on their first day. Maybe they were scared or were considering again the offer of joining YG Entertainment.

She seemed pretty nice, seeing how sincere she were while talking to me. Not even a bit arrogant or cold. It calmed down the fast beats of my heart.

- I'll take you to JYP whenever you feel ready.

I looked up to her.

- Now is okay?

Surprised, her jaw dropped a bit before smiling again.

- Of course! Actually I hoped you'd say that.

We smiled to each other as she took me to JYP's office. I felt my hands shaking and sweating. My heart was beating so fast I was scared she would hear it.

- It's here, she said after two minutes of walking trough the building.

I looked in front of me to face a white door, wich seemed way too big . She seemed to notice that I was a bit scared because I felt a hand on my shoulder.
