1.4| Sadness

It was the next day, 12pm. I slept at 2am. Anyways, I still remember what Hyunsuk said.
I went downstairs and got some coffee.

"What time did you arrive?" Hui asked.
"At...10pm." I lied. Kino shaked his head.

"No! At 2am, I was getting a snack when I saw you enter. Hyung, she's lying." Kino said.
"Is it true?" Hui asked. I suddenly got a flashback. When Jihoon said exactly that.

You know, I'll talk to him today.
"Y-yeah. Actually, I'm gonna grab lunch somewhere. Goodbye!" I said and went upstairs to change.

I changed and was ready to open the front door when someone spoke up.
"At least stay for 10 or 20 minutes? You're always leaving early just to go to Junkyu's house. How many friends does he have anyway?" Wooseok said.

"He has 27 friends." I said then he spit his coffee on Shinwon.
"Wooseok.." Shinwon said softly. Wooseok smiled and Shinwon went upstairs.

"Are you saying you suddenly have 27 boyfriends now? I bet that guy who went with you here is your actual boyfriend." Kino said.

"No! But, that guy, Choi Hyunsuk, likes me. And...my childhood best friend, Kim Seunghun, also likes me." I said.
"Doesn't Junkyu like you?" Jinho asked.

"No. He's literally like my brother." I said.
"It can always happen. Even just a little crush. That would happen." Jinho said. I shaked my head.

I sat down and they kept asking about Hyunsuk and Seunghun.
"How tall is Seunghun?" Wooseok asked. "181cm." I said. He looked shocked.

"It's now 1:30pm. I have to go now. I even spent like...more than 10 or 20 minutes. Bye!" I said then they said goodbye.
I stopped at this café and entered. I could smell the aroma of the coffee. Gosh.

I search the menu and got ready to order.
I look at who's at the cashier and see.......Lee Midam. I knew that name sounded familiar when Seunghun said it.

"Y/N." He said. "Midam." I said. For anyone who's confused...he's well, my brother.
As you guys thought, I'm not the eldest. I heard that he was looking for me. He didn't know I went to jail because..he was too busy with his job as a barista and manager in a store. He ended up giving up because he didn't love me that much anyway. And...I know he's living on his own.

"H-how are you?" Midam asked. "Why do you care?!" I asked.
"Why do you have to be mad? I didn't do anything wrong and...where have you been all this time?" He asked.

"By the way, you have 10 friends looking for you." I said.
"Wait, what? How do you know?" He asked. "They're my friends. We have a new brother. He was adopted and he's unexpectedly friends with your long time friends who is also your long time friend. His name is Kim Junkyu." I said. He looked shocked. "J-Junkyu...Lee Junkyu. That's why." Midam said.

"Please...bring me back to them. I really need to see them." Midam said.
"In one condition...don't ask Junkyu about his family life and don't tell we're siblings. Deal?" I said.

He nodded.
We then walked to Junkyu's house. I could hear music blasting. Gosh, these boys..

I open the door to reveal 31 shocked boys.
"Midam!!!" They all shouted and hugged him.

"Why are you with Y/N?" Hyunsuk asked.
"Well...she went to a café I was working in and I know her because she's my...cousin but we just saw each other like, when we were 13 and that's it. We never saw each other again." Midam explained.

Jihoon was looking at me all this time. I caught him and he quickly looked away.
I slowly walked to him and grabbed his wrist to sit on the couch.

He looked flustered, he was blushing like crazy and was trying to not smile.
"So...you probably know every secret about me, don't you?" I asked.

"Well...of course. Is that okay for you?" He said.
"Well....kind of. I just need you to shut your mouth, since I know you're very talkative and loud." I said.

He smiled then laugh. Wa...that smile.
"I won't tell them anything. Like seriously, I promise." Jihoon said.

"Well...you know, if you tell them, I'm sorry but I'll have to ignore you for the longest time and I'll eventually be very mad at you, Jihoon-ah." I stated. He nodded.

I looked at the boys, they were gathering up at Midam.
They were talking about like, school life. And, I felt out of place because I never went to school.

I was really mad at Midam right now. He embarassed me in front of his whole school.
They were asking him about me. And, the thing he said made me hate him forever.

"Actually..Y/N, she was really good in school. Actually, I was shocked she still had good grades because she mostly skipped classes because...she, always went to bars and clubs and stuff. All her life, she just gets her hands on a boy, she's very happy. Right, Y/N?" Midam said. Tears rolled down my cheek.

They all looked at me with disgust. Even Hyunsuk and even Junkyu. But, only 1 person didn't look at me with disgust. And, it was Seunghun.

"I'm sure that's not true, Midam-ssi." Hyunsuk said. I ran out of the house with Seunghun following me.
"Y/N, please stop! Talk to me!" Junkyu shouted. I turned around.

"Your friend, Midam, he's my brother, by the way. If you think he's telling the truth, you're very disrespectful.
Why are you even friends with Midam?!" I said. They all looked down except for Midam's friends.

"Noona, now that's disrespectful! You just not ask somebody's friends like that!" Junkyu said. They all nodded.
"Are you telling me you believe him?!" I asked.

"Answer me!" I shouted.
"Hey, you do not shout at him!" Hyunsuk shouted back.

"What are you doing, Y/N? Why are you doing this to Midam?" Hyunsuk asked.
"All of the things he said was not true, god damnit!" I said. I headed out of the door and sat on the bench.

I cried my eyes out. I felt Seunghun sit down beside me.
"Why are you crying so much? You're crying more than Yedam has cried." Seunghun said.

"I just..feel very guilty. I-I don't wanna fight them..especially Junkyu and Hyunsuk. I wish we won't fight." I said.

"Hey..I don't wanna see you cry. You know I trust you, right?" He said.
"Of course, Seunghun." I said. He smiled.

"Okay, you can stop crying now." He said. He wiped my tears. I smiled brightly at his action.
He was still wiping my tears. I looked at his eyes. I put down his hand.

"W-what are you doing?" He asked.
I sighed and closed my eyes then...kissed his lips.
