Truro, Cornwall. England. 1967. Virgin!Roger
174 Morris Mini Minor, 1963. That's what he had gotten with the £1007.76 he had. Roger Taylor was in love with his car.
It's every young teenage boy's dream to have their own car they can drive as they reach to impress their friends and charm the ladies. There was one 18-year-old boy that wanted all that desperately and after endless pleading to his father to let him and using a lot of his gig money that he had saved since he was 15 years old from playing with The Reaction, he got his own set of wheels. In a few months, he will be studying dentistry at London Hospital Medical College so it was only fitting that he got his first car before then.
For as long as Roger could remember, he has always been the uncool, wimpy kid that wasn't the best at making friends or scoring any chicks for that matter; he even has yet to lose his virginity, at 18 bloody years old! all of his friends and bandmates had already lost it and are constantly on him about it. But, he has come a long way since being the tender skinny boy who would be pale and violently shivering after rugby, he is a lot different than the boy who would shy away behind his drums while there was female company anywhere near him at a gig
Only, it wasn't really much with the lasses he wanted or the approval of his mates on a cool car that would get him laid in the future. That was the simple explanation of why he wanted one, the other way more...complex.
Roger had a strange—ahem—kinship with cars.

It started when he was just beginning to feel the changes his body was going through, adorably a late bloomer and going through the early stages puberty. Yes, puberty had done quite a bit for that lad, but at that time in the early 60s, it had brought something up that he had yet to previously feel or experience.
It was August 1963, he and his parents along with his little sister Clare had just gotten back from Sunday church. He had been feeling strange for the past couple days and had been getting this feeling in his lower tummy when certain things had happened around him, but he never knew what it was. Of course, back then, nobody was told anything about anything that society thought was too inappropriate or wrong in any sense. He got out of the car last and his father forgot to turn off the engine of the rumbling vehicle, this was usually Roger's cue to turn it off as his father brought his sister inside.
The young blonde boy climbed into the driver's seat and went to grab the keys when his foot pressed on the gas pedal, the car let out a roar that at first made him jolt in fear but, after he did it again and a smile made its way onto his face—multiple times later, he looked down at his lap and cocked (heh) his head. He turned the keys and the car shut off but he still looked at the outline in his Sunday trousers, he placed his hand on the outlined place and felt it become strangely hard—it also making that feeling come back to him as it had before in the days prior, only it was more intense.
You can guess what happened at that moment; the young Taylor boy had gotten his first real boner, from a car.
Before natural male instincts took over and knowing what his mates were talking about now, and how they dealt with it; his mother called for him, "Roger? Come inside, darling!"

December 1967
That same boy, now had a car to call his own.
The little silver automobile sped down the dark and empty dirt road in the lower part of England, Cornwall. Roger had been driving all day after just buying the car from a used car lot that afternoon, even if it was snowing like the devil outside—he didn't want to get out of it. It was way past his curfew and by that time a winter storm had formed around him until he could barely see anything, he knew he should have gone home after church and bought it the next day, but he just couldn't wait.
