Queen Harrica was standing at her window when the Head Huntsman entered.

She whirled around.

"Well?" she demanded.

"It has been done." The Head Huntsman said, face expressionless. He revealed a burlap sack to her. "Here is the proof."

The Queen squealed. She ran over to him and he opened the sack for her.

Her full pink lips spread into a wicked grin.

"Wonderful. Simply wonderful." she purred. The Head Huntsman set it down on the table.

"You done very well." said the Queen, laying a hand on the man's chest. "Quite well indeed."

"You are the Queen." The Huntsman replied, resisting the urge to recoil.

"Yes I am." she smiled wider. "And I believe you deserve a reward." she slid her hand down his chest, batting her eyelashes at him.

"There is no need your Majesty. I was only doing what was expected of me."

"Oh, but I insist." The Queen stretched her neck and pressed her lips against the Head Huntsman.

Holding back shivers of repulsion, he let the Queen kiss him. Her arms wound around his neck and she pulled back.

"Let's go somewhere more comfortable." she whispered.

Letting the vile woman pull him to her bed, he decided to give the Queen what she wants - this time.

After recovering, Stephen and Roderick began to settle down with their new forest friends. There they learned the identities of all seven elves.

The kind, old lady elf was Patricia. The jolly elf with the big smile was Jolly. The blue haired elf was Riveria. The elf with the crazy moss hair was Monica. The one with the daisy on his head was Daniel, while the grumpy one with the red hat was Stern. And last but not least, the young baby elf was little Peep.

The thought of going at this alone was now distant in the back of Stephen and Roderick's minds. In the presence of these lively sprites there was little opportunity for sad thoughts to appear.

During their time there, both men pulled their weights around the hidden cottage. While Roderick helped Jolly, Daniel, and Stern with mining, Stephen stayed back and helped Patricia, Riveria, and Monica around the house. He also helped them look after little Peep.

The days were peaceful and sun filled and Stephen could not remember the last time he felt so ... free. Happy. It was truly the most wonderful feeling.

Without Queen Harrica scrutiny, he could do whatever he like. And it seems Roderick was feeling the same thing.

"Pie boys!" Patricia yelled. Jolly, Daniel, Stern, and Roderick were chopping down woods near the cottage.

The elves dropped their loads and quickly scrambled to get a tasting of Patricia's homemade blueberry pie. Roderick followed after them.

The ladies were passing out slices as Stephen cut the pie. He placed one on a plate and handed it to Roderick.

"Here you go."

"Thanks." Stephen fingertips brushed against Roderick's, and for a moment their eyes locked onto each other.

Stephen noticed Roderick was not wearing a shirt and could see thin trails of sweat trailing down his hard chest.

Again, Stephen had to resist the urge to stare.
