Mae's POV

Today is the day prom. The day my friends and I  had been planning since we were in 6th grade it was finally here ... prom

Now I'm not going with anyone because I have Daniel but he's on tour paisley is going with her boyfriend Peter, Cora's going with her boyfriend Joshua, Gia and Sam are going as friends, Ethan's going with his girlfriend Lily, and Ivy, Caleb and I are third wheels to all our friends but I'm still really excited it's gonna be a night to remember... ( high school musical songs plays in the back of my mind) so right now Cora, Gia, and Paisley are over at  Ivy's and my Airbnb talking and hanging out together before we got ready. We started to get into weird topics until we came to talking about how many guys asked us out specifically our current boyfriends and ex-boyfriends " Cora do you remember how Joshua asked you out freshman year" Paisley asked Cora " ya we went fishing it was actually on Mae's birthday and I legit hooked him on his pants with a fishing hook and we talked and he asked me out" Cora said as I started to laugh " oh my gosh I remember that it was a great birthday that year" I said thinking of something I needed to do " hey guys I'll be right back" I said before running upstairs and going on Instagram to post something. Daniel and I had decided how we would tell our fans we took some pictures of just our hands-on Wednesday he posted this yesterday

After that I went back downstairs to find everyone on there phones looking at something " what are you guys looking at" I asked them as they all looked at me " ok well if your guys aren't going to say anything do you remember when Peter asked Paisley out buy carving the question in to a tree at the top of a hill ya cool" I said as they just keep staring at me except for Ivy " ok well I'm going to let kiwi in and feed her I'll be back" I said walking away after a few minutes I came back to the living room with kiwi and said " you guys good can we go back to talking" " ya we can so um who in here has a boyfriend raise your hand" Gia says as Cora and Paisley raise their hands as I just kind of put my hand up but not really " do you guys have a question for me or something or are you just going to indirectly ask me" " ok what the fuck is this" Cora said showing me the picture I posted on instagram " well you see it's a picture I posted on insta today why" I said smiling " well who is this guy" Gia asked " what the guy in the picture he's my boyfriend" I said smiling as I thought of how Daniel asked me out " ok what's his name" Paisley asked " and why do you need to know" I asked " well let's see so that we can talk to him but also DM him to see if he can be trusted" Gia said " so you want his insta is what your saying" " yes but also Ivy why aren't you asking who it is" Cora asked " cause I already know who he is, he's a nice boy good voice too" Ivy said still looking at her phone " wait hold up is he famous like you" gia asked " yes he is thanks Ivy for telling them that" I said sarcastically " your welcome my friend by the way he's in a band" Ivy said " really Ivy really you had to tell them that" " what band is he in" Cora asked before I whispered " Why Don't We" " what was that" Paisley asked " she said Why Don't We" Ivy said " Ivy what the fuck" " sorry your the one that left me alone on Wednesday" Ivy said " sorry but didn't we meet your 'good friend' and wasn't he in that band" Cora asked " ok so I just insta stocked all of their accounts and what I have learned is we've met 2 of them total we know Corbyn but he's like a brother to Mae and we know Daniel who recently posted a picture just like Mae's with the caption ' wherever I go I'm taking you' so with that information I'm guessing and it's just a guess but Daniel is your boyfriend and not just a good friend" Paisley said "how long did it take you to find all of that" I asked her " 3 minutes" she said " how the fuck did you do that" " well you see I've become very skilled at insta stalking my friends boyfriends and guys they like" Paisley said " well shit that's impressive but my question for Mae is it true" Gia asked " well dame for just insta stalking them you got it all right that's really surprising" " so you Mae Noelle Peirce are dating the Daniel James Seavey I mean wow what a power couple but I would also like to know why you didn't just tell us on Wednesday" Cora asked " because no offence but I wanted to tell Ivy and my parents before I told you guys I mean I was planning on telling you guys today but I can tell the guys when we go to prom" " well now that we're done with that I want to know how he asked you out" Gia said " ok so I took him to a place were only Kazz, Corbyn, me and now Daniel have been and this was the first place that I had taken him because I was showing him around Annapolis cause it was there day off on tour and we were just sitting there and out of nowhere he just asked and I said yes" " oh that's cute also hey I have an idea why don't we talk about all the guys that asked us out and how they did it" paisley said " do you guys remember when we would keep track of the guys that asked us out" Gia said " omg ya I remember that Mae had the most guys ask her out then Ivy next was Gia, Paisley and I had the same amount ask us out" Cora said " oh ya I remember that too" Ivy said " ok how did we go from talking about Daniel and I to how I won a stupid contest we started in 6th grade" " good question that I don't know the answer too" Gia said " Mae do you remember what happened in 3rd grade with Tommy" Ivy said " really were gonna talk about my love life what about your guys love lives" I asked them " well your love life is more interesting than all of ours especially Cora's who got a boyfriend freshman year and are still dating" Paisley said as Ivy, Gia, and Cora nodded " what about Ivy's love life" " her's is more funny and tragic then interesting" Gia said " well that was rude" Ivy said with sass " ok well I have an idea why don't we talk about our tragic love lives from the past" I said to everyone " ok I'm cool with that" Gia said "ok so who do we start with" " let's draw names from a hat" Paisley suggested so we wrote everyone's names on a slip of paper folded them up and put them in a hat " ok who wants to pick a name first" " I'll do it" Gia said as she got up and picked a name out of the hat " ok first is Cora" " ok well I can only think of one thing and it's from 7th grade and it's just when she asked a guy out and he said no" Paisley said " wow Cora's love life is more cute now and sad in the past" Ivy said " ok well Cora you get to draw a now" Gia said " ok" she said picking a name out of the hat " I got Gia" Cora said " well then I don't have a love life so this should be easy" Gia said " well I hate to break it to you but that's not true" Ivy said " I have to agree with Ivy you dated some pretty bad guys over the years and most of them were dicks" Paisley said " ok so tell me what you guys remember about my tragic love life" Gia said crossing her arms over her chest " oh I got one do you guys remember Connor" Cora said " holy shit I remember him we used to call him an end table because he was a dick and 2 weeks into your guys relationship he asked if you guys were still together" Ivy said " oh and do you remember sophomore year when Miles asked you to hoco in front of the whole school and you said no" Paisley said " oh and when a senior asked you to prom last year and again you said no" Cora said " damn you really liked telling guys no didn't you or do you still turn down guys" Ivy said " ha ha guys very funny I get it my love life is very sad let's just pull another name" Gia said with sass " Mae why don't you pick a name" Ivy told me before I drew a name " ok I got Paisley" i said " guys really my love life is just like Cora's in a way" paisley said " yes it is but Peter asked you out sophomore year but Jamie asked you out freshman year and you guys dated for like a month" Gia said " yep that's my whole love life" Paisley said " well then Paisley pick a name" Cora said " ok I got Ivy" Paisley said smiling " great just great" Ivy said unenthusiastic " oh I'm excited for this one" " ok so when was Ivy first asked out" Gia said " it was Dylan in 7th grade and they dated for a week then Patrick in 8th grade and I think they dated for 2 months and at the beginning of freshman year Landon asked her out and he was your first kiss but you guys broke up after 5 months" Cora said " oh and sophomore year she was asked out by 2 guys Jacob and Brandon and you said no to both of them" Gia said " for all of junior year she dated Dominic and that's it" Paisley said " that's it if you don't count L.A." I told them " what happened in L.A." Paisley asked " Ivy went on 2 tinder dates with some guy named Swoosh" I told them as Ivy gave me a death stare " I'm sorry but who the fuck goes out with a guy named Swoosh out of all the guys that are on tinder your first choose is a guy named Swoosh why just why" Gia said fast " I don't fucking know he sounded nice" Ivy said " he was ok" " well we're done with my love life past let's go to Mae's because all of us have gone but let's go threw her whole love life and start at the very beginning" Ivy said with a smirk " ok fine who wants to start" I asked them " I remember in 3rd grade Tommy proposed to you and you said no but took the ring" Gia said " and then you said no to Sawyer when he asked you out in 5th grade and in 6th grade Jeremy asked you out and you said no" paisley said " in 7th grade Elijah and Asher asked you out and she said no" Cora said " oh and my favorite in 8th grade Colton asked you said no but also Tyler asked you out and he was a 6th grader and he asked you out and you said no I mean come on really" Ivy said " 9th Archie asked you out and just like the others you said no" Gia said throwing her hands in the air " but when Matao asked you out you guys went on a few dates but when he asked you to be his girlfriend you said no" Paisley said " then in 10th grade you went on some dates with Caleb and then he asked you to be his girlfriend you said yes and you guys dated all of 11th grade until you guys realized you loved each other like siblings" Ivy said " and the last guy to ask you out before Daniel was Archie again who asked you out right before you and Ivy left" Cora said " and now you have Daniel" Paisley said " yep that's all of them" " ok so guys it's now 4:30 so we should probably start to get ready so we aren't late" Ivy said " ok you guys stay here and I'll be right back" I told them as I ran up stairs to get their dresses and brought them down before going to get their shoes " ok so each dress is in it's bag so you can't see them so your initials are on your dresses bag and your shoes box" I told them as they grabbed there dresses " ok let's do our hair and makeup first and then we can put our dresses and shoes on" Gia said
