Chapter 1

The bus pulled up, first time in two months.

Yup that meant back to school, summer was coming to an end.

But the best part of school is... um... Well there is no good part of school.

I was just excited to see my bestie kaya, no not KAY-LA, KAY-A. She would always get mad at people for calling her the wrong name and my name is sarah.

We have been friends since we were toddlers and I honestly felt like I was going to die because I haven't seen her in two months!

This year we started at a new school, high school.

We where going into grade 9,

New school, new drama.

The doors opened on the bus as I pulled out my headphones from my ears and walked off the bus, I saw kaya waiting right outside the doors, we both screamed and gave each other a big hug.

"OMG HI! I haven't seen you in forever" that was the first thing she said to me.

I missed her so much but we caught up so fast.

She already told me the first thing on her mind, boys.

"So you remember Matt?"

"YA!! You went out with him right?" I asked

"Ya but now we broke up and he's frikin' stalking me"

I laughed my head off when she said that!

"So he must still like you then" that was probably the stupidest question I could have asked.

"No seriously I talk to one guy and then he's staring at me"

This time I almost fell over laughing but she caught me before I did.

The bell rung and we rushed to the door to see if we where in the same class.

"Crap, I'm not in your class"

Typical kaya to say that,

But I was so bummed that we weren't in the same class but our lockers were close to each other.

Kaya's locker was next to Matt's hooray for her!

And mine was next to Cody's, another kid in our class.

Before we knew the bell wrung and a mad rush to go outside started.

"Oh my gosh there's like millions of kids here!"

"Well no duh sarah it is a high school"

I felt so stupid.

There was one thing we saw that stood out,

"Hey sarah look at that hot guy over there"

"You think that's hot?" I replied
