That friend

Chapter 6/ part 2

Kaya's pov
"Hey kaya"
"Hey ... Wes, so um why did you want to meet me here?"
" I wanted to tell you something"
"And that is?"
" I like you"
"I like you to but why did you want to tell me that I thought you already liked me as a friend?"
"No I mean I really like you, I think your so cute and I love your personality"
I Couldn't help but blush, I felt like a tomato
"Really?" I said looking up to his beautiful brown eyes.
"Yes"
I thought that everyone would be looking at us but no body saw or heard us.
"Hey Wes, do you want to come over tonight?"
"I would love to kaya"
And with that the bell wrung and we all slowly went in side, I had probably the most boring class, geography so I took my phone and head phones and stuffed it in my pocket, I put the head phones through my sweater and up my sleeve so when I was bored I just leaned to rest on my hand and listen to My favorite playlist.

Sarah! Guess what. I screamed to her
"What!" She said mocking me
"Wesley's coming to my house tonight"
"Ooohhh wesley likes you"
"Ya. He does. He was the one that wanted to meet me at the soccer nets."
"So... What are you going to do tonight with wesley?"
"Maybe we can go down to the beach"
"Well what ever you do you better impress him." She said with a smirk on her face
Sarah and I where walking to her house after school but I had to be home by 4 because Wes was coming at 5.

We where at Sarah's playing on our phones, in silence so I started talking
"Sarah what am I going to wear?"
"Um your light blue shorts and your yellow tank top that says chic"
"I thought you wanted me to look good?"
"Fine wear your dark blue shorts with it than"
"Awsome"
After that I looked up at the clock and I had to leave
" I got to go Sarah"
"Ok I'll see you tomorrow"
As I left Sarah's house I walked back to my house just around the block and walked inside my front door
As I walked by my mom I said hi but then bolted it up the stairs so I could get changed I picked out my outfit right away and put it on.
It was only ten minutes after when I went down stairs to wait for wesley, I saw him walking up my drive way and just when he was about to knock on the door I opened it and greeted him with a simple hi.
"Hi wesley"
"Hi kaya"
I gestured him in side and I closed the door behind him.
"So what are we doing tonight" he asked me
I just smiled at him and said "you'll see, just follow me"
He walked behind me as I led him through the house and out my back door which led to a path behind a tall brown fence...
"Kaya why can't you just tell me where we are going"
"Wow you like to whine a lot" he could tell I was joking though
We continued walking and the path came to an end,
"Here we are"
We where at the beach, my second home... well actually like my third home because Sarah's house is like my second home so...
"Well stop staring at it and let's go" I pushed him over and we ran down to the beach and I took him to my bench.
"Look" I pointed to a little scratch in the bench that spelled out my name
"When did you right this?"
"About when I was 5"
"Ok enough with this lets go swimming!"
He picked me up and through me over his shoulders and ran into the water, I was fighting him until he through me into the water, the water somehow relaxed me and it made it even better when I saw wesley there, we swam for a bit and then went onto the beach to dry off.
"wesley"
"Ya"
"I... I like you... a ... A lot"
"I know"
He brought me into a tight hug and I felt like I could stay there forever.
