Malacant: The Begining

Summary

Malacant is an island that doesn't exist on the map. Its Creators hid it from the outside world. The Creators were friends with different charismas. They all lived happily until two people from a different clan fell in love. The Creators gave their blessing to their marriage and their baby. But when the baby was born the Elder, the only witch on the island, had a vision according to which that baby was going to be powerful enough to either destroy or maintain the life on Malacant. The Creators could not allow such a thing so they killed the child and its parents, and sent the witch to live alone in exile on the Dark Isle.

In order to avoid such thing from happening again and repeating their mistake, they divided Malacant into four factions: The Water faction descendants of Theresa Prescott, The Fire faction descendants of Ignis Vansel, The Earth faction descendants of Dimitra Wallace, and The Air faction descendants of Jegudiel Branhill. Each faction possessed only one-quarter of the island and to prevent any random meetings the Creators build wards that would prevent such situations.

The four friends were divided; they created hate amongst the citizens of the factions. 

Eventually, as the years passed by, the Creators realized that they could no stand being separated so they thought that they could meet once a year to rejoice. On that day of the year and only, people from all the factions were gathered in the Central Temple to celebrate and honor their founders.

Everything was peaceful, or at least was; until now...

Rick Vansel... The heir to The Fire faction throne. The typical bad boy that loves to cause trouble. Responsible and mature when it comes to his family and faction, but when she gets in his way, everything in his world change.

What's going to happen when the four leaders decide to make the festivities last longer as an anniversary present for the 300 years of their existence?
