Kita came up to us and took out her ear buds that she was playing music through. she paused her song and hugged me "hey" she said with a smile "what's going on?" she asked. why'd you have to ask? =n= i thought knowing lilac would answer. just then the bell rung signifying it's time to make your way to fist period. "saved by the bell" i sighed under my breath. we all said our goodbyes to kita as she made her way to JROTC.

~Sakura's POV~

(Y/n) and I walked to first period together since we have the same one. We have like- every class together. As soon as all the students trickled into the classroom the teacher clapped very loudly once. Everyone turned their attention to her, she smiled. "New seats!" she said, everyone picked up their things, I looked at (y/n) from across the room. She just shrugged, so I did as well. 

The teacher called out names and pointed to seats to assign them. My seat was right beside (y/n), we walked to our new seats and smiled while setting our things. We started to talking and so did everyone else. "how was your day?" she asked me. "it only just started" i chuckled lightly when she awkwardly smiled and muttered "right"

i started to bring up funny memories we had together and so did she, it was funny, but my favorite was when she brought up our dancing in the woods. I replayed the memory as well with a smile. I looked at her, she was smiling so brightly. How does she do it? Smile while still in the dark world.

The inner-com beeped letting us know the principle called through it. He said a few things but no one really knew what the fuck he said cause it was fuzzy. But we did understand him saying it was time for the moment of silence.

~Y/n's POV~

sakura was just staring at the ground the whole time so she didn't catch me looking at her smile. Her smile was so beautiful, i couldn't help but smile as well knowing that she was smiling from replaying the conversation we just had. I was so happy to be the cause of that beautiful smile. Little did i know that Sakura thought the same about me.

i was so lost in thought that i didn't realize that the time has ended until sakura looked up, thankfully not at me. i quickly looked away, heat rising to my face. sakura sat back down, so did i, as well as everyone else. She looked at me with the same soft smile still on her face. Her head tilted to the side a bit. ShitShitShitShitShit i thought and believed she noticed my blush. I looked away.

~Sakura's POV~ (sorry for all the POV switching)

I tilted my head hinting that i noticed her blush. She blushed more, fairly quickly as well, she snapped her gaze away from me. I smirked on the inside making sure not to do the same on the outside.

"(y/n)?" i said, she looked at me, still blushing. "yeah?" she replied acting as if she wasn't blushing so much. "are you okay?" i asked. "yep, why?" she tilted her head. i smiled but quickly hid it and put my paw/hand to her head. "your face is hot" i put in a way that i knew i could be taken two very different ways. Either saying it as in fever and she is literally warming up too much or in a flirtatious way and she is like, hot as in looks wise. She blushed more and looked at her desk "uh, th-thanks but i'm fin-ne" she stuttered out. i chuckled a little bit while keeping quiet knowing she took it the flirtatious way but would like to believe it in the 'fever' way.

It's a lot of fun teasing her seeing her shy and beautiful smile but I should let her work. So I did, I sighed and looked at the paper on my desk, we had a lot of questions to answer and had to answer them all in complete sentences and even had to write the questions. I huffed and rolled my eyes, i should do my work but it's boring and I just don't want to so i'm not going to. It's not like anyone would care if I failed. even (y/n), she would most likely just forget about me and make new friends. It seems hurtful for me to think these things but it not like anyone can read minds and the truth hurts and i need to accept that.
