Plane and a Pain

Iz's POV (and thanks for the comments and votes! I love them all!)

Jane leads us on a plane with velvet seats and champagne. I snigger and lean to Emmet.

"They can't even drink champagne." I say. He chuckles, seeing glasses of champagne everywhere. We sit, my head on Emmets lap and my legs stretched over three seats. He strokes my hair and I close my eyes and drift into into oblivion.

Emmets POV

I stroke her feather soft hair and her eyes close, her long lashes fluttering slightly and her breathing evens out along with her heartbeat. I love my lil sis. Suddenly Rose scoots next to me. Rose. Rose. I don't understand her sometimes. Like if a female, even Alice looks at me the wrong way she goes nuts. If me and Iz make out, it's chill.

"Hey babe." I say, smiling like a doof.

"Her honey." She says and then looks down and Izzys sleeping face. She loos younger in her sleep. Like she never saw the things she did, never was bitten, never had nightmares. "She's an angel." Rose whispers and strokes her cheeks lightly. Iz twitches as if she feels Rose's touch. Jane suddenly comes over, looking at us in awe.

"She's sleeping on you?!" Jane exclaims, whispering. I smile.

"Yes." I say and gently stroke her cheekbones. Rose smiles and places her head on my shoulder.

"How!?" Jane asks. I look at her.

"What do you mean?" How? She sleeps. Not rocket science.

"Isn't she scared?" Jane asks. Ah. That type of 'how'. Right.

"Our Iz isn't afraid if anything. And she's been bitten. And hunted down. And broken." Rose says. Jane leans in, her eyes sparkling.

"What happened?" Curiosity leaks through her voice.

"Well we where playing baseball and suddenly these three nomads came, and one was a tracker." I start. Rose shudders at the thought of James.

"He caught Izzys scent and, well, started with us. So we had to hide her. Alice and Jasper took her to Phoenix. Then, James, the tracker, called her saying he has her mother and will kill her if she doesn't come, alone. So selfless Iz went alone, after tricking Jasper, to meet James who didn't have her mother. He fractured her skull, broke her ribs, snapped her leg and worst of all...a venom bite. We came and ripped him apart. And, of course, sucked out the venom. James, however, had a mate who seemed revenge. She wanted to kill Iz. She's been hunting her down ever since." I finish. Jane looks at Bella with new respect in her eyes.

"Where's the bite?" She asks. I flip over Izzy's wrist and show her. Suddenly Izzy's eyes snap open, glaring at me. Oh shit.

"We will be landing in the Volterra momentarily." Someone says over the intercom. Double shit.
