AN: YAY UPDATE!!

Eleanor POV (WHAT??!!)

I watched them drag Louis out of the room. My hand had flew to my stomach immediately after Louis had hit me. I couldn't believe he had done it.

I had felt my pants get wet. I reached down and brought my hand back up. Ruby blood was covering my fingers, and before anything else happened I was hit with a sharp and dreadfully painful surge through my lower abdomen.

I clutched my stomach and bent over, waiting for the pain to pass. After a minute or so, I was able to stand up. The remaining security and Ryan were standing around me.

"I..I..I'm bl..blee..bleeding," I said through deep breaths, attempting to remain calm. Ryan took my hand and pulled me closer to him.

"What's going on, love??" He asked, genuine concern glistening in his eyes.

I screamed and hunched over, another whip searing through me.

I concluded that either something was dreadfully wrong, or I was having early contractions.

"Whatever it is..." I choked. "I need to get to the hospital." Ryan nodded, and Jim, another security guard, gently picked me up bridal style. I cradled my bump in my arms as I was carried to the car, and swiftly driven to the nearest emergency room.

After about a 40 minute drive filled with yelling, pain, and more blood, we pulled into the hospital lot.

"I want.. I want Louis!!" I yelled back at the guards.

"He's preoccupied, darling," Ryan said.

I groaned.

Jim had left the car as soon as we got there, and returned with a wheelchair. Again, bridal style, Jim lifted me out of the car and put me in the chair. He turned me around and we headed for the entrance.

Ryan walked to my immediate left all the way to the delivery room, where doctors concluded that the blow had induced labor. As far as they knew, there was nothing wrong with my angel.

I was put in a bed, checked and told that I was at 8cm dilation, meaning 2cm to go, and that I wasn't allowed an epidural. It was too far, and too dangerous.

All the security guards left, but Ryan stayed by my side.

We waited for about 20 minutes, until my nurse came in and checked my dilation again.

"9 this time," she smiled. "We will start getting set up. Are you the father?" She asked turning to Ryan.

He looked at me, and I smiled, nodding my head.

"Yes." He said, abruptly.

Louis wasn't here, it didn't matter what was said. He could just never find out Ryan was the actual father.

I didn't tell Louis the full story.

It was true, I did see that Louis was in love with Harry long before he realized it. I didn't really give a fuck. I was already sleeping with Ryan. I told him about it, but he was petrified. He told me that Harry and Louis' being gay would ruin their image. I told Ryan that I was in love with him, and that I wanted to break up with Louis. He told me that he would pay me big money to stay with Louis in public and convince him I was madly in love with him, but that we would still remain in a relationship. I agreed, and it kept everyone happy, until Louis proposed. I said yes, scared out of my wits that Ryan would be mad either way. It provided the perfect opportunity to change my mind when Louis said Harry's name instead of mine. I threw the ring at him, and left to be with Ryan.

I found out a few days later that I was 3 months pregnant. I knew it was Ryan's, but I also knew I had to keep it a secret from everyone. The guards, the rest of Modest!, nobody knows that Ryan and I are together. I acted like the baby was Louis', and I planned on continuing. I said that I wanted Louis here, but it was bullshit. Ryan was by my side, and that was all I could ever ask for.

He had left with the nurse to dress in scrubs. They both came back in, just as another contraction hit me. I sat up and gripped the sheets, until Ryan's hand replaced the fabric. I squeezed the life out of him as I breathed through the longest and hardest contraction I had had. When it was over, I felt a suddenly massive urge to push.

The nurse noticed my discomfort, and checked my dilation for the last time.

"10!" She said, happily. She pressed a blue button on the wall, and shortly after a doctor walked in.

He was wearing scrubs like Ryan, but he had gloves on.

"Ms. Calder it is?" He asked, pulling the sheets back to reveal my legs.

"Uh-huh.." I nodded. "Can I push yet??"

"On your next contraction," he smiled.

I didn't have to wait long. My next contraction came moments later, and I sat right up, gripping the life out of Ryan's hand. I hollored, and fell back, eager to have a break.

Contraction after contraction, push after push, and 30 minutes later, I heard the cry of my baby.

I looked down past my knees, and saw the doctor holding a pink and wrinkly, screaming child.

"It's a boy!!" He smiled, wiping down my newborn son's head and body with a soft towel.

Ryan stood and the nurse helped him cut the cord. My son was laid on my chest, and I stared down at him. He slowly opened his eyes, and I couldn't stop looking at them.

He was so perfect.

"He seems healthy for being two months early. Congratulations!!" The doctor said, then promptly exited.

"Let's get him properly cleaned up," a nurse said. I allowed her to take my baby with her, and Ryan and I were left alone.

"The name we discussed??" I asked, exhaustedly turning to Ryan. He nodded with a smile.

"Remember, you tell Louis the baby's last name is Tomlinson," Ryan said, "but we'll have my name written on the birth certificate."

The nurse walked in with my baby, and a whole bunch of papers.

"Do you have a name for your new son?" She asked, handing the now sleeping bundle to me.

"We do," I said, smiling down at my miracle. "Micah William McConnery."

It worked out perfectly. Both Louis' and Ryan's middle names were William. It could have technically gone either way.

The nurse documented the name, got both mine and Ryan's signatures, and left us alone again with our child.

"I really hope Louis will buy this," I said. "Micah kind of looks like you."

"Good. He's too daft to notice anyway, I'm glad my son looks like me." Ryan said.

"I know that you said he was occupied, but we probably should call Louis," I said.

"I agree. Afterall, his "son" is here," Ryan said. He left the room.

Dedication to @soothisboynamedlouis and @JenLovesHarryStyles for the names Micah and William.
