Minho watched her from a distance, she was the most beautiful girl he had ever seen. Her smile was bright, her hair was always perfectly styled and her uniform seemed to fit her perfectly. It had been at least five years since he had been watching her, around three years since they had become close friends, and four years since he realised his feelings for her. She was perfect in his eyes, she always seemed to appear when he needed to be cheered up, and gave everyone an encouraging smile. How could he not fall for her?

He watched her take her books and notes from her bag and place them neatly onto her desk, a smile growing on his face. 

She's so cute!

Minho smiled, he mentally and physically prepared himself, wiping off the sweat that had built up on his hands on to his pants as he was going to stand up and talk to her. However, his smile faded when he realised someone beat him to it. 

Seungmin.

The male watched in disappointment as a blushing Seungmin walked over to the girl, a cute smile on his face that she mirrored. He watched the two laugh, instantly getting into a conversation and enjoying their time. Of course Minho loved her and of course he wanted to tell her his feelings, but how could he compete with Seungmin? How could he compete with the guy that made the girl he loves, smile so widely? How could he compete with the only person in the world that made her truly happy?  

Minho looked down, a frown forming on his face as he let out a sigh and looked down at his book deciding to review some notes before the teacher came. As long as she's happy... I'm fine.

"Oh my god Minnie you're so cheesy!" You exclaimed with a wide smile on your face, cringing at your best friend's words.

"It's true Y/N! I'd be nothing without you~" he cooed back at you as you playfully hit him, the two of you a laughing mess. You had just survived a long and boring History lesson which you shared with Seungmin. If it wasn't for him you would've died of boredom.

"Jeez, all I did was hand you some History notes, it wasn't a big deal,".

"And this modest attitude of yours is exactly why I love you!"

Yous just laughed at his adorable manner, he was the cutest person you'd ever met and his smile alone could make the worst of days your best. You truly loved and appreciated him.

You continued to laugh with the smiling male until you reached a crowded area of the school and bumped into someone. "Oh! I'm so sorry!" You quickly apologised before you looked up and realised you bumped in to your close friend Minho. A smile made its way across your face as you stared at the familiar face, "Oh! Hi Minho! I'm so sorry for bumping in to you, actually, it's been a while since we've talked I missed seeing you around! It kinda feels like you've been ignoring me,".

"Y/N!" Minho exclaimed as he let out a wide smile upon seeing your face. "Yeah it really has been a while... I've just been busy I guess..."

"Really? Well are you free now? We should eat lunch together!"

Minho froze, suddenly looking a bit down, "Yeah, but aren't you usually with-"

"Ah, sorry Y/N, I got caught in the crowd! Oh, hello Minho Hyung, how have you been?"

"...Seungmin," Minho muttered softly, but just loud enough for you to catch it. You saw the look on his face, he looked even more upset then he did before, making you frown with him.
