She felt the air breeze onto her pale face as she walked into the much too familiar yellow room.
It felt too comfortable.
With her eyelids closed, she slowly sat in the worn-down red chair.
Too comfortable.
She was much too comfortable with this room.

"So, Elle, how has your week been?"
You see, Elle had suffered from schizophrenia since she was eleven. Depression overcame her mind when she was fourteen. She had dealt with it for three long years.
She hated therapists. "They don't do anything to help," she said. Except for this one.
She decided to stick with Dr. Hood not because of his "great remedies," but because of his son. Calum had fallen in love with Elle very first day she walked into his father's office. After her sessions, he would sneak her around the office and they would just sit. And talk. It was nice.
Elle replied to the doctor's question with no emotion.
"Shitty, as always."
"Would you like to talk about it?"
"No."
"Okay then. How about you try this-"
Usually at this point in the session, she would zone out at the wall. She would think of her friends, her problems, but one thing would always knock the other thoughts out of her brain.
Calum.
She met him after her first session with Dr. Hood. He found her wandering around the halls. He joined her.
Ever since that day, they would find a place in the building and get away from reality. They talked about everything. One time, Calum brought a friend to meet Elle. His name was Ashton.
Ashton immediately hit it off with Elle's best friend, Darbie. They were polar opposites. The two met when Calum brought Ashton over to her house after a session.
Darbie was Elle's next door neighbor. She had lived there with some of her friends ever since Elle moved in last year. She had short dyed red hair, incredibly pale skin, some tattoos and a nose ring.
"So that will conclude our session for today, Elle. Your next appointment will be one week from tomorrow. Don't forget to try the remedies I told you about."
"Yeah yeah. See you next week."
Only one thing was on her mind now.
Calum.
